I want to know if I have off of work...I find out Tuesday...It's killing me. Really, really killing me. Also, this may be TMI, but I have been sick most of the week and not able to eat. I want to get better(Though a small part of me is like, yay I can lose weight by not being able to eat- I know that's bad)

I am so tired of having nightmares now. The past two nights I have woken up in the middle of the night and I'm pretty sure it's because of dreams. I just want to make it through a whole night without my head trying to explode.

Still torn on how to decorate our ceremony space. I wish it wasn't so stinking big and dark. Its like we're getting married in a haunted house for goodness sake!!

Canada Post! I can't deal with the lack of accountability and service! We have had friends / family say they RSVPed over 2-3 weeks ago and yet we have received nothing! I understand this may happen but there are a number of people that have told us this! Also at my grandparents 55th anniversary party this weekend, two couples didn't even recieve there invitations! SO fi hand delivered them on Tuesday, ummm.. our deadline is Friday! Not to mention how many others potentially did not receive the invitations! Can't wait to be done with these RSVPs!

I'm going to second or third the nightmares thing. I didn't get a restful sleep last night and woke up to three different dreams. I'm not sure if they were really nightmares, just very strange.

I'm a bit concerned about CP and our RSVPs as well. Our deadline is tomorrow and I'm still missing about 17 response cards (about 25 people) at this point so I predict I'll be doing some calling next week to see who's coming. I've also had a few people say to FI "Yes, we're coming to your wedding, and we both want seafood lasagna" instead of sending back the lovely, pre-addressed, stamped envelope I provided. Yay!!

My other vent today is my car inspection. It's due by the end of the month, so it went today to the shop. With the shop' quote, they wanted $1,000 to pass it. A THOUSAND DOLLARS. In their defense though, most of that cost ($650) was in tires. We don't need tires. I've been buying used tired for yeeeeeears every summer from the same guy for $140 per set. He always tells me that if they don't pass, come back and see him, and we'll get another set. So, that saves $650.

I did some searching around and was able to find the same parts for half the price they wanted and we have a garage hobby mechanic that we've gotten to do work before (he's licensed, just retired from working FT now and does it from his house) and his labour prices are super competitive.

So instead of $1,000, we should be able to pound out a passed inspection for about $200. Much more manageable and much less painful but it still sucks. I don't even LIKE my car that much.

I was upset at FI because I was on the phone with my cousin and told her about the rehearsal dinner. When I got off the phone, he was like, "why are you inviting everyone? I guess you have money like that."

Seriously pissed me off because we sat on the couch a few days prior, I made sure I told him to pay attention, and I calmly discussed why I felt that all our out of state (not OOT) guests should be invited. I explained that because of our exceptionally high declines it would just be an additional 12 people, it would include his favorite aunt and uncle from Texas, pizza isn't that expensive, etc. He said "sure, if that's what you want". Now he claims he doesn't remember the conversation!

I already started to tell these guests about it, so it's not like I can take the invitation back or only invite half of the out of state guests because they are travelling together! FI can just suck it up at this point. Now, I just don't mention the dinner to FI because I don't need the drama.

I just spent my morning in training and didn't get started on ANY of my reports; I'm just sick of training people and I want off of work so I can get married already!

Meanwhile, it is too much to ask that people behave and just follow the basic rules of etiquette? Nothing super prudish, just stop inviting people to my events that I don't know or that aren't invited. It can't be that hard...

Workout frustration: when I first stared my exercise and diet routine I was fully committed, I worked out as often as I possibly could between work and kids and gave up anything food wise that I actually enjoy. I lost some weight and was excited but as the wedding has drawn closer and the kids last day of school is today, all the summer sports and activities for the kids have started, not to mention the wedding details to get done. I don't have nearly the time or energy that I did initially. I haven't quit working out, I go to zumba once a week and still see my personal trainer once a week and rarely ever indulge in fatty foods, and although I haven't gained any weight, i haven't lost anymore either and my body fat percentage went up by 1%. It is just very discouraging. I work hard but I have to have a life too. Being a women can be so difficult sometimes.

Ditto! It says 19 posts, but there are only two! My vent is that my godmother wants to come to the rehersal dinner so bad! I don't understand it. She is now coming as my moh her daughters date, but really it's a dinner!!!!

I hate my job, I hate my job, I hate my job.

Also, I am just stressed about our venue. We have a minimum spend, and we had rented a space for 35 people. then we had more people tell us they were coming, so we had to rent out more space (increasing our minimum spend). Well now we have had a few people back out (ummmm who cancels a trip to Maui?!) and our minimum spend is too much now....there is no way we will make it and we just feel like we are totally wasting money. People would currently have to drink 2 bottles of wine each in order for us to fill our minimum spend. Ughughugh. Just totally sick of people saying one thing and meaning another. I know it's hard to get to Maui, but please don't say you're going to come and then drop out less than a month before the wedding!!!

Work! We are so extremely busy, it's ridiculous. I know I shouldn't complaint, but my boss has been an a$$ lately becaue of it. We are working on 3 schools totalling $2 million dollars. These are huge jobs to us.

I flame my birth control.

I'm on week TWO of my pills and I started my period today!!!! Umm. This is not going to work when we're married. Luckily, I did already call my doctor and they're going to switch my pill.

I've also been slacking on my workouts this past week. We've been so busy making jam and life has just gotten in the way. I have to get back on track. Just as much for my mental stability as for my fitness. It's the best stress reliever I know and I'm in need of some stress to be relieved!!

ARGH! I just got a letter from the company that supplies are media for cell culture. There last lot is contaminated with a bacterium. Too bad I have already used 2 bottles of my order. This shuts down 2 cell lines for me. I needed to get this stuff done before honeymoon and now I have to scratch everything and throw cells away. I also get to clean out the cell room. Yuck!

I still haven't heard back from my DJ. I had e-mailed him over two weeks ago and then called and left a message yesterday. How hard is it to return a call???

Also, the coordinator at the church hasn't gotten back to us so we STILL don't know how/if we can decorate for the ceremony. So frustrating!!!!!
