  Yeah, I guess with my H I would know that it was just him not getting the urgency of canceling appropriately far in advance rather than holding onto back-up plans in case he didn't end up having to do something with me. But I do see now how - especially if he did eventually come out and say "this party is important to me" - you could have taken it that way.

  Unfortunately, no.  It is a 14 hour drive & plane tix are now crazy.  But they actually weren't so bad for awhile. . .
  
  We're driving for Thanksgiving.  Planning to be in the 'ville for the weekend before the holiday.  I need to attempt to put together a schedule. . .
