They did this "capture the page" contest, wher eyou had to submit screen shots of their 2011 catalogue. You could get 1 ballot for just playing, 10 for sharing on fb, and 1 for every day it was valid for uploading a page. There were 15 prizes of 500$ gift cards, and then 1 grand prize of 10000$ in gift cards.

Sorry about the bad days! Today was okay for me, but H is kinda pissy because one of his workers irritated him all day.

For me, I get over a bad day by re-reading one of my favorite books or just vegging out in front of the TV. If I'm up for it, I try out a new recipe because food makes everything wonderful again.

Clearly sunrise, I should have given you what I gave my mom and aunt for christmas last year, you would have alteast appreciated it more. I bought each a 100$ gift card for ikea... and they STILL havnt even bothered going.

</div><div>I kid you not, every single piece of furniture in our condo is Ikea except for my old futon frame from Uni (but the futon on it is from Ikea) and an entertainment unit that I built out of MDF. Everything else is. It is kinda sad really but for most of my life it has been all I could afford (all the furniture is mine, not FIs). It honestly looks like a catalogue in here. I have the lamps too, and vases, candles...it is ridiculous and almost embarassing...we used to joke that I needed the blue arrows on my floor to guide you through the condo. Sigh...</div>

almost all of ours is too. only our couch and bed arent ikea. everythibg else is!

I think ikea is ridiculously close to raynes and september, im only 30 from it. we could eat sweedish meatballs!!

Nebb, I will happily take an Ikea gift card any time you want to give them away =D I'm on a big furniture/house/decorating kick right now and FI has next to nothing in the apartment right now. I'm always looking for more stuff.

I think they actually only live a few minutes from eachother. if we can make it work, i would like to, when might you be free. I know the next few weeks are going to be busy for you.

I thought we had a tentative date? October 23rd? Honestly if we want to go to Ikea we can do that and then we all have dinner at my place, I like 10 minutes away from Ikea and I will make us something ridiculously yummy...
