We just finished dinner and h has finally reconnected the basin in the spare bathroom. YEA for at least one fully functioning bathroom.
And I was playing with my new steam mop. No more wet mopping for this one.
And I am super pissed to learn that our cell phone company charges us a) more to call cell phones than land lines (same with the land line) and b) charges us to check our messages. I need to call them and have the ring time extended so we have a chance to actually answer it.

I'll be honest. It seem wrong to clean without soap. It looks cleaner?
I got the Kenwood sc2000 and it heats the water to 95+C. The reviews say the "best" one is the Monster. However, I was NOT paying that kind of money for a steam mop.

Sadly we don't have the Shark down here. My choices were the Bissell, The Kenwood or the Monster. The Bissell sells for $200 here...and $75 on Amazon :-( damned 220 voltage...
We have hardwood floors throughout and lets just say that aMrs and wet mopping do not mix. It involves falls, cursing and tears. I always used a WetJet before, but we don;t have that here either.

I'm wearing my crankypants this morning. Mr. Arb and I had dinner plans tonight, and I reminded him he had a package to pick up from him mom's house, and he decided that the easier solution would be to just invite his mom to dinner. She's now going to spend the entire time trying to make us feel guilty for moving more than 5 minutes away from her. Ugh.
I have no idea. But I am displeased. I don't dislike my MIL, but she is one of the most socially awkward people alive. Guilt trips are the only social interaction she's mastered.
Well arbs look on the bright side. Let her guilt be a reminder of the fact that you WILL BE MORE THAN 5 MINUTES AWAY FROM HER. And let it make you internally smile.
Haha, and good point Stacks. I mainly happy that I won't be over an hour away from my family anymore. We actually picked a spot that is almost directly in the center of everyone, which will make holiday travelling much easier than it's been in the past.
Good Morning! I'm so glad it's friday, been a crazy busy week at work. on a good note I thought it was tuesday on wednesday so that was a nice surprise this week. Looking forward to gaining another hour this weekend.

You could never in a million years imagine how effed up the communication company is down here. They make Comcast look like a A + rated company.I would almost rather not have any phones or internet than have to deal with/pay for these aholes. When we first moved in we had an internet choice of dial-up or buying wirless USBs for $150 each and then paying $100 a month for 10 GBs...EACH. Then I was told "oh, your computer is too hi-tech since it doesnt have a dial up modem in it.
Who in the hell has dial up modems in their computer anymore??!

I woke up this morning and it was actually cold here. Well, when I say cold i mean it's 60 degrees. (Sorry all you Northerners!) It's supposed to be in the 50's tonight. I'm excited.
I am exhausted from my travels to a job interview in another state, and the insomnia that came with stressing over it, but I am happy to report that I nailedthatshit. Nailed. it.
Happy Friday! I was up late last night so I'm a little tired this morning. But I just have to make it through the work day...and then a 5 hour drive...and I'll be in Gatlinburg! I loaded all 7 HP audio books on my iPod. I'll probably listen to DH on this trip. I can't believe how much crap I have packed for 1 person for 2 days. Dumb.
"In the old days my ass would be in your back yard picking cotton, so excuse me if I don't put much stock in how f*cking awesome the old days were." -Nuggs
It's a reactor design job. I can't be more specific than that.
Stacks, I'm supposed to get a call within a week or so. But they straight up said, "Legally, we can't promise anything until the paperwork clears. But we're planning on offering."
Good morning! I'm glad it's Friday too. This week has just dragged. But I'm not very happy right now - I woke up with a toothache that's not going away. Ugh. I hate hate hate the dentist. But I might have to suck it up.
Oh hey andy- I responded in your thread from yesterday but it was way late. Yes, I watch Fox 17.
This week has gone by soooo slowly. SO glad it's Friday. AND payday, cha-ching! We're going to Punkin Chunkin this weekend and also getting some serious packing done, yay!
I'm also hoping my Best Buy gift cards that I ordered from my credit card rewards program come today because there's a TV on sale that we want to get.
Question, which bed set do you like better or neither:

I am struggling to keep my eyeballs open and get my body moving. H still isn't home from work yet. I hope to see him before I leave.

My morning was made, however, because Alix made an appearance on my FB wall last night. I miss that broad.
