Taughannock Falls State Park

We were initially hoping for a winery wedding but our smaller budget has encouraged us to consider Taughannock Falls State Park for our ceremony and reception venue. We are planning on July 2013 at the North Pavilion. Has anyone held/attended a wedding at this venue? What was your experience? :)

    So, I haven't been to a wedding at the pavilian, but I have been to one where the couple walked up and had the ceremony at the landing at the base of the falls. It was pretty freaking sweet :D

    My Fiance and I got our Engagement Photos done there.  Our photographers got some amazing shots! Be sure to take advantage of the BEAUTIFUL scenery!

    I am also thinking of this venue for October, do you know how late we can stay there? on the website it says we need to leave by dark but on the phone someone said a little later. I'm hoping we can stay until about 10 or 11.
