Good morning ladies!
Ugh. Didn't sleep well last night bc H was gone, which I should be used to by now. I guess it is bc he usually comes home at some point, but he didn't last night. He got called into work at 10pm and still isn't home at 7:30 am, this on top of working a full day yesterday. He is gonna be a grump tonight...lol
I am just ready for the weekend. It has been a long week already.
What does everyone else have going on today?
Re: Happy Hump Day
I haven't been on since friday, so busy at work since I'm covering the shift for the cashier at my work. Today is the last day this week I have to do the 13hr shift and I can't wait until I go back to my normal 8-5! Making my brothers birthday cake tonight, a small replica of a fender strat. so it's gonna be a ton of work. Did I miss anything crazy since the FFF thread last week?
However, I'm not even tired today - it feels great for a Wednesday......and life is good. So GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!

the outlawed jelly bracelets quite a few years ago now too for the same reason.
Good morning. Wednesdays are my least favorite day.
I did get to go out to dinner with my dad yesterday in Detroit Lakes, though, which was awesome, but I got home late, so that's relatively NOT awesome.

What? That is a new one to me. I know they are not allowed in the elementary schools here, but we are a private church pre-k so I guess parents just don't think even though so many of them have older siblings. I am so glad I put my foot down on this one bc they are such a nuisance.
We had kids being Indian traitors wanting ones they had traded back and then they start crying and fussing. I can't handle that in a pre-k room.
Yeah, I heard about the sex bands scandal...girls wear different colored bracelets to indicate how far they're willing to go. Sick.
I'm in a great mood because FI had the day off so I didn't have to drive him into work early this morning, and I got to sleep in until 7! Finally, a full night of sleep.
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY, STACKS!

Speaking of sex, my H's co-worker's 15 yr old son has his 14 yr old GF knocked up. What a mess they have on their hands.
Any special plans?
I've heard of the old jelly bracelet sex game. I didn't know the same games were making a come back with the silly bands. Makes sense though.
And the Dexter watching resumed last night so that makes me a happy girl

Just waiting for H to finish his child support paperwork so we can go to bed. His ex has requested a change in support because she figures he's now making $80-$120k a year. Bwahahaha...yeah, NO.

Man, that would be nice, huh? The $80-$120K a year I mean. How does she all of a sudden decide he's making that?

Apparently she is rather dillusional as to what one makes working in the tourism industry.
I am assuming she came up with that figure since he drives a boat and that is about what he was making when he was driving a fishing boat 10 years ago. However, driving a fishing boat, your income comes from the actual catch (think "Deadliest Catch", but in warmer waters). He now drives a ferry. No daily catch to speak of.
So, we get to play the game. She is going to have a fit when she sees the part that Immigration says he is financially responsible for me for another year. My Visa doesn't allow me to collect any form of Public Assistance. I could walk out on him tomorrow and he would still be responsible for my living expenses (or paying to get me back to the US).

Wow, that's interesting. But yeah, ex-wives are a bitch, huh? My friend, M, that I work with had to deal with her husband's last year (before they were married). The state was going to garnish some of HER wages to give to the ex-wife even though they weren't married and M had a daughter from a previous marriage to take care of.

Thankfully they don't take the new spouses income into account down here. We checked with a family atty about that before we got married. So I could be making $500k a year and she couldn't touch a dime of it.
I didn't realize that Sweden had an Immigration issue.
[QUOTE]ew, Amoro, that is scary :( Maybe Allen should dye his hair blonde? :)

ha! That would look really strange.
Wedding stuff.
[QUOTE]Snippy that's awful! I didn't realize that Sweden had an Immigration issue.

There's apparently been a trend in the last couple of years of anti-immigrant, which coincides with the market downturn and the huge volume of asylum applications Sweden has received also.
Wedding stuff.
[QUOTE]Where did Stacks announce it was her birthday!?! oh well HAPPY BIRFDAY!!

Snippy, that's awful. Hopefully they catch this person. That's scary.
