TK is so old school.

Re: TK is so old school.

• I don't want edie to hate me...but I hope the flyers keep this game interesting (and ultimately win the series...but I want it to go longer)
• That dress is gorgeous.

There is a LOT of time left in this game, so I won't count my chickens before they hatch.

I think FI said the Flyers have been up 3 games before and then lost the next 4, so it could happen.

• Go Redwings! That is for FI.

• I want it to be tomorrow already. I love watching all hockey...but it isn't the same as watching "your" team.
• Fuckit. I'm leaving my class early. I'm going to go home and make H listen to me rant about my stupid aunt.

Night! Enjoy the game!

Your FI was incorrect.

In the history of the NHL...
The Toronto Maple Leafs came back and beat the Detroit Red Wings in the 1942 Stanley Cup final.
The New York Islanders, in only their third NHL season, came back against the Pittsburgh Penguins in the quarter-finals in 1975.

And in 2010, the Philadelphia Flyers came back from 3-0 in the series as well as 3-0 in Game 7 to take the Eastern Conference semifinal against the Boston Bruins

It's probably me that's wrong then... maybe he said that last part and I mixed them up in my head. Ahh well. Either way, it looks like teams have come back from 0-3 deficits and ended up winning the series, so could happen for the Pens. You sure know your hockey!
imageWedding Countdown Ticker
• haha well since the NHL started in 1917, 3 occassions isn't a whole lot. It isn't common. Not impossible, but not likely.

I grew up in a hockey family....with hockey connections...its in my blood :)
• wow this game is turning into a blow out.
• FI is probably crying right about now. He *really* wanted to sweep them.
imageWedding Countdown Ticker
• This game is insane. If the Pens/Flyers rivalry wasn't so fierce (especially in a town where 90% of the residents root for either of the two teams), I might actually feel bad for them.
That dress is beautiful. I wonder if I view Disney differently since I grew up going on a pretty regular basis and still live here. We have quite a few friends that have annual passes as well as many of my coworkers. I also have several friends who have gotten engaged there.
Posted by PetalPockets2012
Me too. I also admit to wearing the Minnie veil ears when we went for my birthday last year; it was about a week after the engagement.

We did have one touch of Disney at our wedding. It was a pretty last-minute decision though and only because we couldn't think of any other cute, inexpensive cake toppers. I love Disney and while H is not the biggest fan, he does like their Vinylmations.

• Nice Ottawa just tied up 2-2.
And looks like it is getting chippy in the pens/flyers game....time for some fights!
• That cinderella gown is GORGEOUS.

I am living SW of Denver and H and I LOVE to eat at good restaurants :).
• I'll never forget the playoff game when I was in college that went into a ridiculous amount of overtime periods during finals week. Needless to say, there wasn't a lot of studying going on that night in front of the big screen tv in the student union.
• I'll admit that I like Disney a lot, but I'm not so obsessed with it that I have stuff all over the house. I have a lot of the movies and want to go for the Food & Wine festival sometime.
• H would not be with me if I started decorating the house with Disney! I'll always have him to keep my obsession in check. I mostly just like to go for a few hours every now and then. My mom, brothers, and several friends have annual passes.

Oddly, I don't own many of the movies but keep meaning to start building my collection.

2000 or 2001 I think.
• ...I don't actually care about Disney in general. But i spend every weekend dressed up like a princess, go figure. What i really love is making tiny children happier than they've every been, ever.

...I've never even seen Tangled and I've done Rapunzel parties.

FI's birthday was today so I took him out for dinner (which was fuucking delicious) and we went to a beer tasting with his homebrew club. He got some points for having a hot fiance who could talk beer intelligently. Pretty good birthday for him.

Tangled is actually a super cute movie! I've seen it twice, both with the aforementioned 2 year old niece :) She loves it and I admit I didn't mind watching it again.

Hi everyone!

I know nothing about hockey, but I do like Disney :)
H and I have been buying the Disney movies when they get released from the "vault" so that we'll have them when we have kids. I would hate to have to make my future daughter wait until she is 7 or 8 to see Cinderella because it's not out for sale.

• I haven't seen Tangled but now I want to.

MUNI, totally off topic but I just noticed your ticker. You're getting so close!

I'm bored and trying to convince myself to get up and do 30DS. H is going to be at school until 3 am so I have no excuse...just lazy.

• FISHY!!! How ya doing?

I think the last Disney movie I saw was.... um... I don't even remember.
• I am mostly looking Forward to "drinking around the world" at Epcot, and hanging out with Petal all day when we go. MUN1, watch Tangled, it's cute. Besides, it's "research for work." I worked at the Disney Store many years ago, so I know way more about Disney than I really should.
