I am starting this because I am feeling fiesty..

I flame this poster's Husband. I might be alone in this but the idea that you HAVE to buy him a gift to make up for the ring he bought you is crazy to me:

Yeah - and he didn't HAVE to get her an engagement ring in the first place (or one that cost thousands of dollars)! If you don't like tradition, don't follow it.

I've heard of lots of people buying gifts, but I do think it's a little weird. Buying an engagement ring isn't a tit-for-tat thing. Besides, his gift is your wonderful companionship forever and ever. *gag* haha

I mini-flame the posters (I can't remember who they were and I'm too lazy to go check) who, in Mandy's Yearbook of E poll yesterday, answered the "whose FI/H/BF would you steal?" with "Eh, I think I'll keep my own." or "I like mine." Well no crap, that's why you married him. It's just a game/poll/joke, lighten up

Oh, and I don't have anything to flame on this board. BUT, I flame crazy chick on Chit Chat who was all "I need birth control, but I don't have time to go to PP, and I'm allergic to latex and FI is SOOOO HUGE we can't find condoms that fit, and I don't have insurance because I just got divorced, AND I'm going to donate eggs in a month. What should I DOOOOOO???"

I flame all the people who were mean to Lizarellie in her first post. The "I've been waiting years to post" line made her sound a little douchey, yes, but I don't think it warranted some of the snark (I hate that word, but I don't think there's a better one) she got. I think some of it was bitchiness for the sake of bitchiness, Arv in particular. Then she backpedaled at the end. Alix said it there, but I just wanted to throw it out there that I agree with her.
