I totally agree! For the past few months I haven't been able to have a second free until the evening, at which point I'm posting way too late to get responses! But for the past week I've had a steady project with timely breaks so I've been signing on more during the day. I have a feeling that will end seeing as it's nearly Friday and my supervisor LOVES to call at 5pm on Friday nights, telling me all about how I'll be working all weekend.

I'm so glad you're happy! I'm not depressed or anything, but I certainly don't like my job at all. It's pretty brutal. I much preferred my fellowship between bar exam and Jan 2010, which was government-related.

How did you and fiance meet: We met at a free swing dance group that meets in downtown GR on tuesdays. I had never been, and he was my teacher for the night. We have mutual friends that are sisters who introduced us there.

How long did you date before getting engaged: A year and a half exactly. He surprised me- i thought i was gonna have to wait for a little while.

What is the date of engagement: December 20, 2010. (a 19 month engagement after 18 months of dating. exactly.)

We met through friends on ICQ in 2000. He was friends with some of my friends, but I didn't know FI. He was homeschooled and his friends went to school with me. Anyways, they wanted him to come to the homecoming dance so they went through the yearbook and he thought I was cute so he comtacted me on ICQ.

We dated for 6 years before we were engaged.

how did you and your fiance meet?
First week of my freshman (his sophomore) year of college. He was visiting a friend from his HS that lived in the same dorm as me. He says he saw me in the hall and fell in love instantly... lol IDK if that's true but it's cute if it is haha.

8 years, but we had pretty much known/talked about getting married since we graduated college, there were just other things we wanted to do individually first

Did your FI propose right after midnight? Friends of ours got engaged this NYE, but he proposed before midnight, which I think was smart b/c they weren't drinking yet. everything about this post makes me so happy!! i didn't get on last night and as i have been sitting at my desk catching up on everyone's stories, i have had a huge smile on my face reading all of your "how i met my fiance" stories

bridetobe that sounds so horrible to have a supervisor that calls you at 5pm on fridays!!! my firm is really low key and i have the best boss in the world....we wear sweats to the office (i currently have on a hoodie and lululemon pants!) and our office is closing at 3pm today because we are supposed to get some snow later. i am a litigator so i don't typically have huge projects...i just work on random cases throughout the day as i please. i hope this turns out to be a light work weekend for you!!

how did you and your fiance meet? We worked at the same place just different department. I worked the security cameras so I used to stalk him, one of his coworkers caught me, My Fi began asking about me and finally got the courage to ask me for my number...we hung out a couple of times and BOOM that was it...

how did you and your fiance meet? The first time we met, we didn't actually talk so I don't know if it counts! He was djing at a bar that I was at with my friends. I bumped into him at a cafe a few days later and introduced myself.

what is the date of your engagement? Well, there's kind of 2 dates. November 17, 2011 is when he asked me and November 19, 2011 is when I got my ring!
