Any else following the Royal Wedding? My mom is obsessed with the whole idea and is keeping me updated. They launched a website today so you can follow the progress (
LINK) She plans on having a slumber party the night/day of the wedding to watch it all happen.
Anyone else up to speed?

[QUOTE]I've been following it a little but I do want to watch the wedding. It's just kind of a cool thing to experience. My mother watched Princess Diana's wedding back in the 80's so it's really interesting to see his son get married and watch it. cdechristopher - I do agree with you about feeling bad. The whole family is under a microscope now and have to be their very best becaue of the royal staple now their daughter has. Personally, I don't see what the big deal was that Kate Middleton's mom chewed gum at William's graduation. I had to chew gum at mine just because it's what I do. Lol.

That's my mom's reasoning too. She remembers watching it so clearly that she wants to watch this wedding as well. I can't wait to see it, should be amazing!
Still here and still fabulous!
And it is a historical moment. I mean, even though the royal family doesn't actually have much power now, to me they still represent a society that helped shape who we are. Think about it, Kate's getting married in the same place Anne Boleyn was coronated, where Mary Tudor is buried and where they held the funeral of the Queen Mother (Helena Bonham Carter's character in The King's Speech). Pretty impressive stuff.
