Kicking Off the Wedding Week

What do you ladies have planned for the week of your wedding?

Yesterday was my birthday, and so FI took me and my family out to dinner at The Capital Grille. It was so freaking delicious!

I'm only working Monday and Tuesday this week, which is going to be great. Tonight I am doing my makeup trial, and Wednesday I have to finish up my projects and gather everything together and pick up my dress. Thursday I am bringing everything except the favors to the caterer for them to transport the day of. On Friday, I have to attach the name cards to the favors, which are also acting as our escort cards, and then we're having a small welcome dinner at my FIL's on Friday night.

Then, Saturday is WEDDING DAY!!!!!!

I work today and tomorrow as well. This evening I need to finish our table numbers (I didn't get the frames back from FI until yesterday), and tomorrow I'm getting a spray tan. Then Wednesday getting my nails done and FI and I are going on one last "date night" in our neighborhood before coming back to watch the debates and pack everything up. We leave Thursday!

My main goal is to lay by the pool for 4 days. We really just have a few things that we have to get done.

-Pick up the rental car on Sunday
-Marriage license and visit the venue on Tuesday
-Pick up cakes on Wednesday.

There is one day that my stepmom and I will go to the spa and do some shopping, but other than that, there isn't much else to do. All of the craziness is before we leave on Saturday.

I'm working today and tomorrow. Wednesday, I'm going to try to get ahead on grad school work so I don't need to worry about it over the weekend. Thursday I have the final walk through at the venue and am dropping off all of the supplies. That night I have mani/pedi appts with the girls. Friday is the rehearsal.........that's about it. I have a few odds and ends to get done, but nothing major.

I am working today, tomorrow and wednesday. Wednesday evening my FMIL, FSIL and FI and I are all going for pedicures. Thurday one of my bridesmaids arrives from NC and my family should be getting to our house around noon. The guys are all going to get there tuxes while the ladies relax for the afternoon. Heading over to hotel later afternoon then rehearsal is 5:30 and dinner right after (at the same restaurant we got engaged at!). Then friday is wedding day!!!!!

Tonight we go try on the mens suits... (they already fit they were ordered to size 4 months ago) but TO JUST make SURE LOL

Tuesday evening we go sign our Prenupt, then to the venue to bring our centerpieces etc for them to set up... and pay our final bill to them.

Friday I go get my manicure...we got BACK to the venue to make sure we like the way she set things up and to decorate the gazebo... then to pick up the mens suits for the wedding...Family arrives from out of town, we have our little bbq and get ready for SATURDAY

Today is errands-dress to be steamed, buying a few picture frames for gifts, more escort cards, cat food, doing dinner with FI at my parents house so we can all watch the football game tonight.

Tomorrow is printing the rest of my escort cards before my 2:30 meeting at the venue for head count, meal count, seating chart, last minute details, dropping off favors, card box, toasting flutes, 'guest book' paper, etc.

Wednesday should be a lazy day, my brother is coming in late that day so I might do dinner with the parents and him.

Thursday is also up in the air, plan is to pick up my dress (hoping I don't have to wait until Friday).

Friday is spa day

then checking into the hotel, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, hanging out with my two best friends that night, then it's WEDDING DAY!!!

I got my cake topper to the cake baker this morning and then had school. I have school daily until 4:30 through thursday so my days are shot. Hopefully tonight FI and I will go on a date night. And I have to mow the lawn sometime this week, lol. Thursday the girls and I are doing our flowers (a local floral shop offers diy flowers to save money and they help you do them), and then we are doing nails and dinner thursday night. Friday I have the whole day off which I plan to be lazy and maybe watch some movies!

UGH!! Tonight instead of playing on the computer I should be doing boutineers and corsages. As well as laundry, spray painting the rest of the lanterns for the reception... have to redo one of the groomsmen's mugs.. Tomorrow I have to pack, go shop for the rest of the table cloths etc for the reception.. I work Wednesday morning and then I am going to travel to the town where we are getting married.. three hour drive in our old pickup without a radio, two dogs and all of my stuff.. Thursday I am making 50 pounds of potato salad.. helping make as much if not more macaroni salad.. then my FI and step daughter will be in town, have to get her hair cut and do her nails.. Friday morning the BP and I are going to get mani/pedis then Friday afternoon we are decorating the reception site,, Rehersal and rehersal supper Friday night... Wedding Saturday... WHEW!!
