for work clothes? My new office is really casual. I'm not quite ready to wear shorts to work, but I'd like to get some fun summer clothes that could be good for the office or out with friends. But, it's got to be budget friendly.
I'm thinking capri pants, cute skirts, comfy shoes, etc. I'm open to suggestions of specific items, and places you love to shop.
I love Ann Taylor Loft. They have great sales and their coupons are really good, too.

<div>Ditto! They're always having great sales online. Also, New York and Company has some cute stuff for pretty good prices.</div>
If you and DH have a car, the Wrentham outlets aren't that far from Boston (about an hour) and they have really great stuff for some good prices too

I also like J. Crew and Gap. Those are my usual stops. I like Loft because their sizes run big, so I'm usually a smaller size.
And I'm also a big Target girl.
I'm a banana republic girl. I'm a luxe card holder (which is a bad thing, it means you shop there too much) but i get great coupons. I have a $20 rewards now, and I was recently given a 50% off my purchase coupon. I also like J. Crew and Gap. Those are my usual stops.
Kate, we've got two cars. I just don't know how to find anything except my inlaw's house and the train station! :D Which direction is Wrentham?
Posted by squirrly
It's south, right off of 495. Really easy to get to too!
Ann Taylor Loft and NY&Co. are my favorites. Sometimes The Limited.
If you make Mark buy it for you (or if you have your own spouse id), military discount is 15% at NY&Co.
Ooh, Kate, that's a new one. I didn't know NY&Co had a military discount. Yup, I've got an ID. Any others you know of?
Posted by squirrly
Oh yes, I am so glad I have it. I can't think of any others that do, are there any good ones you've found?
J Crew has a student discount, I was pretty excited when I found that one out.

I got them in both colors and I absolutely love them. I thought I would only wear them to work (full disclosure: I work part time for Ann Taylor), but I actually wear them more than jeans, even on the weekends. So comfortable and lots of clients have loved them.
Also, the Ann Taylor semi-annual sale is going on right now, so there are a lot of marked down items in the store.
I need to get in the habit of asking when I go places.

Ann Taylor, too, though I swear no one ever knows about it. With a valid student ID, you get 20% off your full price purchase--just have to ask at the register for it.
What constitutes a valid student ID?

Any ID from a college or high school that wasn't expired and didn't have anything like "Faculty" stamped on it.
