Re: New here!

  • Yeah, I think the more studies come out, the safer you are to go with as "natural" a product as you can get.

Not that coke is natural, of course, just that the sugar in it is less...synthetic?
  • I suppose so. I know its all bad for you. Why does it have to taste so good? Just like banana splits. Tragic love affair there.
  • Oh yeah. Everything that is so good is so bad. I do not have a sweet tooth, except for soda, funnily enough.  Don't like chocolate, or peanut butter either.

My weakness is salt. I'll have a bag of dorritos for dessert instead of ice cream. Which is just as bad (even worse) for me. Oh, and I need hypnosis to forget about In-n-Out cheeseburgers. For shame, Pinot, for shame.
  • Oh I've definitely got a sweet tooth. Bad. Mmm, mm!
  • Haha! Oh, I was going to ask you about a kahlua and coke mention I saw today. I have used kahlua in coffee with baileys, but never with coke. Is this something I should try?
  • Well, I just got a big bottle of Kahlua in mexico so someone suggested I try it. I like it, a lot. It was sweet though.
  • Hmmm. I can do sweet drinks, and we have lots of coke and kahlua. Perhaps tomorrow. My eyes are fighting to stay open, so it is off to bed for me. Loved chatting with the board being slow! Made posting much nicer on this ancient computer :)
  • I actually wouldn't be surprised if she were real. FI's friend's fiancee is having a Twilight-themed wedding in a subtle way. She also had a dog named Eddie (short for Edward) and is getting another dog named Bella.

OP, if you're still around, one of my favorite wedding blogs had a Twilight-themed wedding, but it was so subtle you would have no idea it was the theme. It was actually really gorgeous.
