for a way early evening thread? H went out for dinner with a few friends, and I didn't feel like being the awkward wife. So I'm hanging out at home with the puppies.

Anything exciting going on?

I'm wasiting time on this website right now: http://imremembering.com/ and putzing on Craigslist for baby stuff. I'm hoping to score a bunch of books. One of the few things I don't mind buying used. I love that old book smell.

I'm here and struggling to stay awake. We got a lot of sun today and that always exhausts me. My goal is to stay awake until 9 but I'm not sure if I can make it.

That website is interesting. I remember most but not all of those things.

I'm also at home because FI is out fishing with his buddies. I was invited to go, but I also didn't want to be the awkward SO.

I look at craigs list everyday and I've gotten some kick ass stuff but there isn't a lot. I'm lucky that the stuff I have found was in almost new condition. Military families are moving all the time here so they give away some pretty great stuff.

I'm here, dithering over what to have for dinner while H dithers over whether he wants to go to a friend's bday party tonight. I made myself a margarita but didn't have enough limes or a fresh bottle of lime juice, so I put some cranberry juice in. Not sure if I like it.

I'm with you on the old book smell! Our dream house will have a dedicated library.

Hi ladies! I'm eating a hoagie for dinner and watching Friends. Then it's back to cleaning out my room and then probably heading over FI's. I picked up a bottle of wine, so I'm excited to break that open a little bit later.

A margarita with cranberry juice sounds... interesting? I doubt I'd like it, but I'm not a huge fan of cranberry juice in general, so I guess that's par for the course.

Old book smell is awesome, though.

Yeah, it's a little too tart on top of the lime and tequila. A sweet juice would probably work better, but that's all I had in the fridge.

Celtic, it's a rarity if I make it later than 9 these days. It's kind of pathetic. In my defense, H gets up at 5 every morning to work out, and I usually don't fall back asleep. So it's still only 8 hours.

Hike- what stuff have you found? I think my mom is accumulation a massive stash of used 'stuff', so I'm hesitant to buy too much. She got us a swing and vibrating chair thing... for $40 total. That swing alone is like $170 new.

jcg- I always add cranberry juice to my margaritas. I hate the taste of tequila, but cranberry helps mask it.

Clearly, I miss drinking, so let me live vicariously through you two.

I wonder if pineapple juice would be good?

Lacking the right ingredients for a proper margarita, though, I'd probably just start doing shots. Tequila is my friend. For a little bit.

Steph, it's Carl Reh Riesling Spatlese... I haven't had it in awhile, but from what I remember, it's pretty sweet. I'm a big fan of sweet wines.

Haha, that is pretty funny. I don't think I have a favorite moment, but my favorite episode is TOW No One's Ready, in the third season.

Ohhh I should look for a glider. My grandparents bought my parents a REALLY nice wooden rocker when I was born, and my mom wants to give me it. I absolutely love that rocker, but I'm worried about using it. I mean, it's 26 years old! ha. I think it was Amish-made though, so I'm sure it's still awesome.

But, I want a glider. I'm picky.

My favorite friends episode is when Ross tries to get the couch up the stairs. So funny. Oh and when Moncia and Ross's parents' house floods and all of Monica's stuff is ruined but Ross gets so pumped to find his rock polisher.

Since we're talking about wine, I'm in the sweet wine camp too. And by sweet, I mean it has to taste like welches grape juice. Moscato or this really cheap extra-flavored wine from the liquor store is about all I can handle.
