KJB, that's what my plan is today too. I have 2 cats, a cup o' hot chocolate and an SVU marathon until Scott gets home from work. ETA: and a fake fireplace. CANT FORGET THE FAKE FIREPLACE.

We get about 18 days off for Christmas break - we get out this coming Friday Dec 17 and don't go back until Jan 4, 2011. It will be nice, even though I will probably be bored for a lot of it since H will be at work. The thing that sucks is that we don't get paid for any of it. Man, do I have a shitty paying job. If it weren't for the kids, I definitely wouldn't be there.

Yeah, I'm just hoping to find a job very soon. I've decided that the first paycheck is going to go for the incredibly long list of stuff that we've been putting off that we need. H's nice wool coat has a rip in the lining inside, we both need new glasses (I haven't had an eye exam in 3 years), half my clothes don't fit... *sigh*

Working on Christmas? That would suck. I'm going to try to make something nice for us for dinner, but not sure my heart will even be in it.

My oldest one is 7. The one that he picks on is probably 3 or 4. I found him outside. He's a super sweet cat, but he stays in his little cat bed most of the day cause if he leaves, the other guys stalks him. Poor Fatty. He's starting to not use the litter box sometimes, which is not good. I just started separating them while we're gone.

I've have the older one since he was a kitten, the younger one for about a year and a half.

I really, really dislike the WBBC. It makes me mad that they even call themselves a church. They were supposed to have come to the Adam Lambert concert here a few months ago, but they never showed. But this happened:

Was it right when it first started? I turned the TV on right as they were opening the envelope at the office so I must have missed it. I know I've seen this one before though so I'm trying to remember what they guy looks like. I can't remember how this one ends though. I watch them regardless of how many times I've seen them anyways.

It amazes me that people like that think they have a guaranteed seat in heaven.

It also pissed me off a LITTLE in the video when that girl says that she was pissed that the protesters didn't show up. Like...really? You're mad that a bunch of assholes didn't show up with hateful signs? Weird.

Yeah, I agree with that. I don't know what them showing up would have accomplished, other than the potential for violence. It was just so cool to see that many people out there, especially in the Bible Belt. Made me feel a little warm and fuzzy inside.

Yeah, those WBBC people are a bunch of wackjobs. They give good, true Christians a bad name.

They were supposed to protest a soliders funeral just over the border in SC, but one of the local radio stations asked them if they could have an interview in lieu of the protest. Surprisingly, they agreed. She was such an angry bitch. She never answered a quesition the radio guy asked her. She just beat around the bush or changed the subject and went off on a tangent.

Hi everyone

My parents are coming next weekend, so we're doing our best to make everything presentable around here. We usually just toss stuff into the dining room (since we never use it!) but today we actually are trying to get rid of all the crap stowed in there. H is downstairs trying out our new aerobics game for the PS3 and I'm gonna give that a shot after him. Later on, a trip to Lowe's is in our future, and to the grocery store so I can bake brownies to take to work on Monday. I feel so traditional.

That is really cool. I love that store. I could buy just about everything in there. That is definitely me searching for knives and utinsils when I am cooking. We were waiting though, bc H wants a Cutco knife block. Those things are outrageous, but really nice and I am not sure if we are ever going to have enough money to buy one.

Hey guys. I just got done doing some cleaning around the house and I'm trying not to get stressed out about Christmas. FI's mom emailed asking when we'd be available for their Christmas and FI's birthday celebrations and I have no idea what to tell her.

Bro and SIL have said they're coming down for xmas, but won't decide when until the last minute. They literally Facebooked me at 11:45pm on a Thursday in August telling me they were coming to my hometown on Friday. It was the first time in a year they were coming back and I already had plans in KY. I was really upset. I don't want to keep bugging them because I"m afraid I'm just pushing them away, but I had to email them and just say that I'd love to see them for xmas and FI's family is trying to plan, so I kind of need an idea of when they might come. ::sigh::

We have a really nice set of Ginsu knives and I love them. We bought a magnetic knife strip and its hanging on the wall with all the knives on it.

I'm trying to finish up my Christmas shopping online. I need a few more gifts and am trying to find everything on Amazon so I can just order it altogether.
