Goooood morning

Re: Goooood morning

  • Morning. I had a little too much to drink last night...I haven't been hungover in forever and we have zero hangover food in the house. I'm sad. And headachy.
  • Thank you. We didn't take many pics because there was a lot of sitting by the pool or on the beach.

    Hangovers are the worse.

Good Morning. We dropped all 4 dogs off at the vet this morning for their comprehensive exams then went grocery shopping. It's kind of nice not having them run around the house.

  • These two amuse me. FI's daughter is making him take her riding on our lawn mower since we don't have a 4 wheeler. At least cut the grass if you are going to be on it anyway.

Oh and his work phone that I washed did not make it. It refuses to work. I feel so bad about it. He's going to get in trouble for something I did. Makes me grateful I have my boss who understands that sometimes crap just happens.

  • Haha beach, yes, it's not a good thing for me to have my phone when I drink. Not good at all. Thankfully H caught me FBUI before it got too crazy lol.
  • Megs the beach pic is beautiful. I so want to be sitting at a pool side bar facing the beach right now.

  • And I'm kind of scared to see what I wrote on peoples walls and who's walls I wrote on...I couldn't even tell you. Yay alcohol :-/
  • Misty I washed H's government phone when he had to carry one.  But he couldn't even be mad at me for it.  He had gotten really drunk the night before and threw up, so I made him leave all the clothes for me and take a shower.  I just grabbed the clothes and threw them in the wash, and I wasn't even going to attempt to reach in the pockets to check anything.  I figured it was safe when I saw he pulled off the belt, and his wallet and personal cell were on the floor.  When I opened the washing machine the next morning, the work phone was just sitting right on top.  Whoops!

  • I'm sad I don't have a drunk FB comment.

    Morning, ladies!

  • I'm sorry Fezz! You're not alone. :-/ I want to lay in bed and read my nook all day, but FIL is here so we probably have to go eat lunch with him at some point. Can't a girl just spend a day reading?!

Me too Fezz! No drunk FB comment from LDY. :-(

DNB & Misty I once was searching for my phone and could not find it. I thought I had maybe left it in the car so I figured, whatever I'll just get it in the morning. I was doing laundry and switched a load from the washer to the dryer. My roommate and I were watching tv and he asked, "did you put shoes in the dryer?" I said, no, but heard the clanking and thought shiit!

Sure enough, my phone was rolling around in the dryer. It had already made it's way through the washing machine. I hated that phone anyway, and the phone company allowed me to pick another one of the same value through my insuarnce.

  • Afternoon, all. H was supposed to be home by now, but his flight back from Buenos Aires has been delayed twice now (by 5 hours so far) - so annoying. On the bright side, I'm feeling a lot better after my cold had me pretty miserable yesterday and Friday, and I'm doing some work so that I can use my weekend hours worked to take a day off for my friend's wedding in 2 weeks instead of having to use a vacation.
  • Good morning, everyone!  I'm painting the bathroom today and not looking forward to it.
I should have done it yesterday.

  • I'm glad you're feeling better Emily. I hope your H gets home soon
  • Emily - at least you got to rest up before your H comes home. I hope he arrives soon.

Megs - the pics look awesome

LDY - I don't have FB, so I can't relate to that. But the last time I was drunk, I was texting my sister and she got a good laugh from it. I hope your headache goes away. I hate hangovers.
  • Good morning all. I feel like an ass from Friday. Am I allowed to return yet? Embarassed

  • LVB, what happened on Friday? I was in my cold-induced haze, but I read FFF at least and don't remember anything bad in there.
  • I'm back.  Anyone still around?  H came home and brought me a Starbucks and brought in the paper, so I just did my coupon cutting.  I have definitely gotten a little inspired by Extreme Couponing, but not nearly enough to devote 60 hours a week to it.  I'm happy to save $20-40 on my grocery bills.

  • Oh, I feel like an ass for going off on Andy the way I did. She didn't deserve all of that.

Yesterday, I became determined to figure out how to get free toilet paper. But then decided I'm not switching to single ply crap stuff. I'm not dedicated to my brand, but I'm dedicated to good tp at least.

  • Oh ok, that I saw. I don't think it was awful, honestly - conversations about weight get heated, and Andy's cool enough that I'm sure she'll accept an apology and move on. No need for shunning.
  • Yeah there are certain things that I want at least good quality, and TP is one of those things.  Do you have Safeway around you?  I just realized a couple weeks ago that on their website they have e-coupons that you can add to your card too and they automatically deduct at checkout.  Plus you can combine those coupons with ones you cut out.

  • oh i had a good couponing morning!  I got $60+ of stuff at Target for $32.

  • I just feel like everyone else got their point across without getting nasty-I did not. And I feel awful about that.

No, we have a Kroger, which is our version of Safeway. I just need to figure out if we do double coupons here or not. I could stock up on TP and noodles and sauce since we do use them very frequently. On yesterday's show, she said that things go on sale every 3 months. I could stand to stock up on 3 months of a few things without feeling like a crazy person.
