FI needs to have surgery in two weeks, so the money we were saving for the honeymoon is going towards that. We were going to spend a week in Charleston, South Carolina. Now we will probably find a historic inn in New England somewhere and spend a couple nights there. Much cheaper.

Next year we'll probably do a tour of the South. We've both always wanted to spend time down there.

For our honeymoon we are going to Peru! We will be also be in Mexico for a short time. We will be leaving October 10th-October 24th (Wedding 10/6). After the wedding we plan to stay in the hotel that the reception is at and spend time with out of town guests until we leave for honeymoon.

We aren't going right away because I'm a teacher and can't get the time off. We are going on to the Eastern Caribbean on the Allure of the Seas (Royal Caribbean) in February. I thought that was our honeymoon, but FI doesn't think it is. I'm going to let him win on this one! So even though we are going on our first honeymoon in February, we are hoping to go to Europe in the following summer.

We're going to Nassau, Bahamas! We're going to stay in the beach towers at the Atlantis Resort from October 14-18th. So excited!!! I've never been out of the country. FI stopped in Atlantis on a cruise when he was young.
