I have no words.

Re: I have no words.

• My sister is totally Disney obsessed and she wouldn't even do this. I think the most she would do would be like a Disney themed cake topper, maybe some music and I dunno, favors or something? It's one of those ideas you come up with where you say "wouldn't it be funny if we did this". But that's as far as it should go with an idea like this...

That's Cinderella. The one in blue with the white down the front is Alice in wonderland.

• Hahaha, I've been dying to get home all day so I can see the link. Glad I remembered to go back and see it!!

I kind of feel on one hand: do what makes you happy. On the other hand: whatever makes you happy, do it with style.

Her wig is cheap looking, the outfits for her BMs look home-made, the pastor wearing ears is childish looking, etc. If they had taken the time to approach this with class, I think it actually would have been cute. Not my style, and I'd never do it, but it would have been cute.

As it stands, it looks like a 4 year old's B-day party.

• Alice is not a Disney princess! This ruins the entire thing for me. This is a rookie mistake for someone that loves Disney princesses enough to have this wedding. There are others she could choose from- Pocontas, Tiana, Mulan or Rapunzel.

I agree that Alice is not a princess, but in the video game Kingdom Hearts they count her as one of the "Princesses of Heart" (And oddly enough, Ariel is also in the game, and isn't considered one, go figure).

Considering the quality of the dresses here, they easily could have made "Alice" in "Rapunzel" by swapping the blue and white fabric for purple and pink.

Andplusalso, I've never seen "Enchanted", but I know that Disney apparently has zero rights to Amy Adams's face (Which is why there is so little Enchanted-related merchandise out there), I can't count Giselle as a real "Disney Princess"

I completely agree. Alice was never a princess.

Btw, my knowledge is not complete nerdiness. A friend of mine is a princess in Disney world. She is so gorgeous and has beautiful red hair. When she is Ariel, I don't think she wears a wig.

There are only 10 official Disney princesses. In order of movies (because I'm a nerd like that)
Snow White
Cinderella
Aurora
Ariel
Belle
Jasmine
Pocohontas
Mulan
Tiana
Rapunzel

Here is a picture of my designer Disney princess dolls for good measure.
I'm with Ramona, I'd be a BM for that wedding in a heart beat. I'd never do it for my own wedding, but I would be all over dressing in costume for someone else's. Of course I was also the only employee at our local video store who not only had 7 different movie themed costumes for work, but continued to wear them to work for a good month after they were no longer mandatory. ETA: I mainly just feel super sorry for the groom.
Posted by StageManager14
Oh yeah, I love me a costume. I do community theatre and the guy who does costumes for most of the shows absolutely loves me because he can whip out pretty much anything and I'm all "If it fits, I'll wear it!" ... which is apparently a lot more than most of the women he deals with say to him. Pssh, why bother playing a character if you're not going to have fun with the wardrobe, right?

And yes. I definitely feel bad for the groom and the entire WP at this wedding. Even if the groom was down with being "Eric" (Which, shouldn't he want to be himself on the day of his own wedding?), you can tell from the pics that the BMs definitely weren't down with the idea, and I can't imagine most of the GMs were either.
Looks like it would be a great 5 year olds birthday party, but for a wedding that is way too much. nbsp;I hate theme weddings like that. Posted by snippet17 This! Those poor bridesmaids.

I was just going to say this. My five year old's birthday is next month and she seriously just said can we do this for my party next month.

• I'm a Disney nerd too... and my FI proposed to me at Snow White's Wishing Well in Disneyland. The only Disney related item to appear at our wedding will be a beautiful custom (not cheesy or cheap) cake topper of Snow White and her Prince, as a nod to our proposal. That's it though.

I think this girl went too far. It looks super cheesy and cheap. Even if she insists that she's Ariel, then the dress and red hair and sea shell head piece were perfect. She should have just put her bridesmaids in pretty aqua blue dresses and used some beachy/ sea shell decor. That would have been enough. The rest of the bridal party in cheesy costumes and the groom in that horribly ill-fitting Prince Eric get up looks just awful. And are we forgetting her poor father wearing that crown and carrying a trident!!! No.

I believe I do have words for this.... LESS IS MORE!

• Dressing up as Ariel would make for a great TTD session. But I really really hate Princess bridesmaids.
• All you have to do is google Disney Wedding's. There are so many tastefully done.

The mickey ears on the officiant was just ridiculous. The groomsmen looked awful. Those pants on the groom couldn't be any bigger. I am betting they rented all of that from a costume shop.
I'm so ashamed to admit this: but if the dress price was reasonable, I'd totally be a BM in that wedding. I'd judge the hell out of it, but I'd totally do it. I'll jump on pretty much any excuse to wear a costume. Even with my shameless love of costumes, though, I am totally judging this nonsense. And that hideous shade of red she dyed her hair.

This is how I feel. Like, I love it and loathe it at the same time.

It's just deliciously awful!

• They're all pretty good looking people too, would have made for a stunning wp. She could have nixed the costumes and played with the bouquets for the princess tie in instead of jumping off the deep end.

• FI and I got engaged at Disney World. We got personalized champagne flutes with the castle on them as tribute to that.

If you're going to commit to something like this, you really have to go all out. Those dresses looked AWFUL. I don't think I'd even wear them again for Halloween. They at least deserved full skirts or something...
• I actually like it. I would have done it differently like have the bridesmaids wear dresses that fit the character but all in the same color so they matched. I'd never do it though. It's just something that I like in my head but my fiance would hate it and I don't blame him.
