I was in a sorority and he was in a fraternity. Well, technically we met before he joined but he was hanging out with them. Took us almost a year to start dating even though we were pretty inseparable for a while haha.

Because of his nerd-dom and my parents' relationship to nerd-dom, he insisted a mutual friend introduce us. We were friends first, and then his friends got me to play a game called "finish your drink." I don't remember that night, but we've been dating ever since.

Introduced by friends. The first night we met, we all went to the bar. Our couple friends got in a rip roaring fight over his Ex being there. So FI got me drunk on tequila shots. We only dated for a month then, but we reconnected 4 years later ( i thought he was a rebound) and have been together ever since. Our future children/families will only know the mutual friends part...

We met in a class in college. It was an elective for both of us, and me being an English major and him majoring in Business, we really shouldn't have met. He walked in and I thought "Hmm... he's cute. I think I want him." So I got him. After a few weeks, I told my friend I thought he was the one I was going to marry. Later I found out he told his best friend the same thing.

Kindergarten. We went to school together from kindergarten through 2 years at a community college. We were casual friends through high school then lost touch because we both were so busy with jobs and college. He randomly emailed me 6 years after we graduated high school. That happened to be the day before valentine's day so we spent all of valentine's messaging back and forth. 2 days later we had our first date.

I LOVE this!

We met through work. I was a sales rep and he was an expert user of our product who we could call in to do presentations at our accounts. I met him at one of these presentations. He lived in another state so we just talked on Facebook for a few months after that. Eventually we made plans to meet up and hang out. I was going to visit my family near NYC and he told me he was planning to visit a friend in NYC. We ended up seeing each other every day that weekend. I don't think he actually came in to see a friend; I think he came to see me but didn't want to say. 3 years, 3 jobs, and 3 cities later, we are engaged and getting married!

I guess I should continue the story.

Drunk we decided to go back to my place to you know. Then he passed out. I went to my room. I woke up and he was next to me on the bed. I went out to the living room and found out he puked. He called a friend to pick him up. He left without asking for my number. By the time he got to the top of the hill it started to pour down rain. HeHe

After he left I picked up my laptop. Some how he broke my charger. I was pissed because it took me 8 weeks get that charger (the joys of living in the islands).

Anyway, we both worked in the same place. I got to work and saw him in the cafeteria. I went up and said " I can deal with a one night stand, I can deal with you puking on my couch, I can even deal with you not asking for my number, but I CAN NOT DEAL WITH YOU BREAKING MY LAPTOP CHARGER THAT TOOK ME 8 WEEKS TO GET DELIVERED." Then I walked out.

Later that day he cornered me in the kitchen to get my number. I gave it to him. 4 days later he said he was going to marry me.

Ah, true love.

We went to high school together, had mutual friends but til this day I swear I don't remember him. We started talking on a social site (myspace) and because I've never added strangers I didn't add him right away. He swore he went o school with me and I noticed we had the same friends. I ended up digging up my year book and checking he was in my school and even in the same graduating year. At that point he was in Iraq, we messaged and he would call when he was allowed. He came home for vacation and we started dating. Love my soldier! :-)

We went to high school together. I decided I wanted to join extra curriculars to look good on my transcript for college, and tried out for the one-act play. I can't act. So the director put me behind the light and sound board. They were one man - emphasis on man- short on stage. So they put him on stage. He spent the next 3 months yelling at me telling me I was doing his job allllll wrong. 6 months later we started dating. 8 years of bickering later, here we are married

I hadn't even thought of that! Yikes! One of the couple friends is the BM and the other is his wife who I definitely told that when I woke up the next morning I said "Well, it was nice meeting you!" and then left. Maybe no speeches at the wedding???
