    Your wedding date:
    May 4th

    Reason you chose that date: 
    We chose May because it's not too cold and not too hot. We immediately ruled out MDW. My BFF (who I knew I would ask to be in the wedding) thought her cousin was getting married on the 18th so I didn't want her to have to miss one or the other. My dad's birthday is the 11th and I don't like him very much so I didn't want to get married on his birthday. That left May 4th and here we are :)

    Wedding location:
    Valenzano Winery, Shamong, NJ

    Wedding colors: 
    Currently: grey, black, and white. This might change to include purple on Saturday when I go BM dress shopping. 

    Favorite thing about planning: 
    My wedding dress, my makeup trial was really fun, engagement pictures

    Least favorite thing about planning:
    Spending all the money! 

    Something you're most looking forward to:
    Other than actually becoming married to FI, the first-look. I really can't wait for it. 

    Biggest wedding day fear:
    I guess rain. I really want the ceremony to be outside.

    4) Wanted June 1 but it was taken at our venue. Plus being MDW people should have extra travel time.

    Reason you chose that date: May just seems like the perfect month. I didn't want it to be too close to my sisters birthday (the 8th), or too late in the month. So the 18th it was!

    Wedding colors: Plum, ivory, and sage
    Favorite thing about planning: Dress shopping and HM planning. And all the excitement
     Least favorite thing about planning: The guest list and people not liking some more contemporary things we are (or aren't) doing.

Plus Saturday was booked at the venue we liked Wedding location: New Orleans Wedding colors: red with accents of black and silver Favorite thing about planning: I can pretty much make all the decisions Least favorite thing about planning: the flip side.     Your name FI's name: Vicki and Keith....... How long you've been together: 4.5 years.......... Your wedding date: May 11th........... Reason you chose that date: we wanted spring, and it worked with everyone's schedules...also cheaper flights and less crowded than summer for honeymoon............... Wedding location: Newark, DE............... Wedding colors: shades of purple with grey accents. May be adding black......... Favorite thing about planning: seeing ideas come together, seeing how well FI and I are able to work together to plan a wedding that reflects us as a couple, seeing the way FI has stood up to his family about certain aspects of the planning........... Least favorite thing about planning: Money stress and his mom's meddling. It's also been pretty hard to do without being able to have my mom or grandparents who raised me here to be a part of everything............ Something you're most looking forward to: Being married...and the honeymoon. It will be so nice to get away from everything............. Biggest wedding day fear: that FI will hate my dress, that his mom will say something mean without trying to, that people will compare our wedding to his brother's and it won't live up to their expectations. The last one is more for Keith than it is for me. He is hurt that his parents aren't contributing anything, since they gave his brother 10000 toward his wedding. He is afraid that our wedding will be judged as not good enough.................Sorry it's not spaced properly, stupid phone. Lol.

    Reason you chose that date: I grew up near the Jersey Shore and MDW was my favorite weekend to start off summer and the shore. Unfortunately, now I don't think it will be the same for awhile. :(
    Wedding location: Aberdeen, NJ
    Wedding colors: Shades of pink with Fuschia being the dominant shade, black and ivory with silver accent
    Favorite thing about planning:  budgeting, organzing, keeping time schedules, researching inspiration. Loved venue shopping, gown shopping, shoe shopping and engagement photos
    Least favorite thing about planning: asking people for help 
    Something you're most looking forward to: walking down the aisle, first look with FI, first dances and after hours
    Biggest wedding day fear: that it rains-having the ceremony outside.

    Reason you chose that date: 
    Totally lame but we wanted May and May 2012 was too soon for us so we opened the calendar and picked May 17.
    Wedding location: Bushnell's Basin, NY
    Wedding colors: Royal blue and silver with a splash of pink and yellow
    Favorite thing about planning: Watching all of our ideas come together and all the diy stuff is pretty fun.
    Least favorite thing about planning: Budget
    Something you're most looking forward to: Walking down the aisle with my dad and just watching FI's face (even though we're doing 1st look pics)
    Biggest wedding day fear: Rain, my wedding is outside and the venue does have a back up plan but I am really hoping that we don't have to use it.

    Reason you chose that date: We wanted to use the holiday to add to our vacation time for the honeymoon. May 18th was not available at our venue, so we chose May 11th.

    Favorite thing about planning: Sharing in a lot of the planning with FI

    How long you've been together: 5 years in Dec (started dating day after Christmas)
    Your wedding date: May 26, 2013
    Reason you chose that date: We originally wanted Sept, but my mom didn't want to be 80 when we got married, so we moved it up to May, so she'll only be 79.  Also, we were going to do Labor Day, but my dad passed away on Labor Day, so my mom was also concerned about that having a negative connotation.
    Wedding location: Ceremony: Edina, MN (Centennial Lakes) Reception: Medina, MN (Medina Ballroom)
    Wedding colors: Lots of them.  Bridesmaids are in watermelon, regency, persimmon, glacier, canary, and cornflower
    Favorite thing about planning: Organizing everything.  I've been waiting my whole life for this.
    Least favorite thing about planning: Budget
    Something you're most looking forward to: Actually being married so we can start working on having a family.
    Biggest wedding day fear: Rain.  Or, someone not being able to come (ie: FI's sister, nephew, brother or sister-in-law - all live out of state, most are in the wedding, but finding affordable airfare has been tricky)

    I have 1 month off before my last yr. of pharmacy school, and that month is May. We chose the 4th so we would have time for a long HM and relaxing back home before June. Also, FI will be graduating from grad school 1 week before the wedding.

    Cincinnati, OH (church and then the Oasis Golf & Conference Center)
