• Is there anything in your medicine cabinet that you chug instead of taking the dose?Pepto and nyquil. It's bad that I also like the taste of both.
What fundraisers did you participate in elementary school? We did a "jump-a-thon" where we jumped rope for pledges, I did a "rock-a-thon" with my drum core where we literally sat in rocking chairs for 24 hours...lol, weren't expecting that! Also, we did gift wrapping and chocolate.
Were you ever a girl scout?Yep, and I loved it all the way up until middle school where it was embarrassing and I tried hiding my cookie form in my backpack.

• Is there anything in your medicine cabinet that you chug instead of taking the dose?
NyQuil

What fundraisers did you participate in elementary school?
Cookie sales, bake sales, walk-a-thon, chocolate bar sales, just about anything the PTA could think up.

Were you ever a girl scout?
I was a brownie, and I won our cookie baking contest. My mom was the leader, but had a falling out with another leader, so I wasn't a Brownie for longer than 2 years. It was fun, but I didn't miss it.

• Is there anything in your medicine cabinet that you chug instead of taking the dose?
Pepto

What fundraisers did you participate in elementary school?
I remember some sort of Walk-a-Thon that they gave us water bottles for.  I'm sure there were more, but students didn't participate in the big one because it was some sort of Vegas-style night with table games and raffles.

Were you ever a girl scout?
Yes, I made it to Juniors.
• Is there anything in your medicine cabinet that you chug instead of taking the dose? Delsym - tastes like oranges and keeps me from coughing up a lung!

What fundraisers did you participate in elementary school? The traditional wrapping paper/candy sales...and our 2nd grade classes had a "christmas bazzar" in which we made stuff and sold it to other students.

Were you ever a girl scout? Technically, I still am.  I'm registered as a leader in my community, although we don't have enough interest for them to need me, but I still participate with troops every so often.  I never finished any awards (I tend to be lazy) but I was a girl scout throughout high school and I loved it.

• Is there anything in your medicine cabinet that you chug instead of taking the dose?
Nyquil. I know it's bad for you, but I sleep so well when I take twice as much as is directed.
What fundraisers did you participate in elementary school?
I sold candy bars for 4-H and wrapping paper to raise money for my private school.
Were you ever a girl scout?
Nope, but I lurve the cookies. It's Girl Scout cookie season, isn't it?

• Lauren, that it is. I just bought 8 boxes from my sister. Both my sisters continued being girl scouts all the way through their gold awards. Wow, I am the only loser who never finished in our family.

• Is there anything in your medicine cabinet that you chug instead of taking the dose?
NyQuil.  When I'm sick, I drink the stuff.  But I think it tastes like crap, so hold my nose and make a face.

What fundraisers did you participate in elementary school?
Cookie sales, Cholocate bar sales, We did a math-a-thon for a charity, and probably a lot of other things.  Magazines, maybe?

Were you ever a girl scout?
Yep.  I was a brownie and a junior.  I won the no-bake contest as a brownie 3 times, but I never won the baking one.  Camp was the best, though.  I loved going out there and doing all that stuff.
• Is there anything in your medicine cabinet that you chug instead of taking the dose?  Nyquil and Maalox.

What fundraisers did you participate in elementary school?  Magazine sales, walk-a-thons.

Were you ever a girl scout?  Nope.
The Bump ate my signature. DD - Apr 2011 DS - expected June 2013
• Is there anything in your medicine cabinet that you chug instead of taking the dose? Delsym cough medicine.  It doesn't provide a measuring spoon or cup so you have to eyeball it anyway.
What fundraisers did you participate in elementary school? Skate night at the roller rink, wrapping paper sales.
Were you ever a girl scout? No.  My family moved a lot so I never stayed at one elementary school long enough to really put down roots and join a troop.

A word of warning from your friends at Cracked.com: Remember that text is going to be how you make your first impression over the internet; if every third word you type is misspelled, people will automatically assume that you're a moron.
• Is there anything in your medicine cabinet that you chug instead of taking the dose? No. My dad worked in pharmaceutical development and has scared me off taking too much of things. Although he's also told me that on most OTC stuff expiration dates don't matter, so I take out of date stuff often.

What fundraisers did you participate in elementary school? We had an annual walk-a-thon. I never lasted long though, I was chubby and kind of lazy as a kid.

Were you ever a girl scout? For a few years in elementary school. It was fun, but then I just didn't want to do it anymore, can't remember why.
• Medicine??? I rarely take any but i will take 4 motrins/advils/etc to start out if I get a really bad headache or cramps. It seems like the "suggested" dose never does anything for me so I just double up.
Fundraisers??? I did wrapping paper sales and some candy bar stuff.
Girl Scout??? Nope but I love my thin mints!!!

• Is there anything in your medicine cabinet that you chug instead of taking the dose? Generally I take 4 pain pills at a time - I don't take them often in general, but I find it helps better and I can be super impatient and a baby when I'm waiting for pills to kick in, lol.

What fundraisers did you participate in elementary school? We did a few things - read-a-thon was probably the most frequent, I remember the funds helped MS.

Were you ever a girl scout? I was a brownie, then I remember one day we were doing an art thing with sponges and paint.  Another brownie yelled at me for using a sponge in a different color paint (essentially mixing the paint).  I ended up crying and begged my mom to let me quit. Its hilarious to think of now, haha.
• Is there anything in your medicine cabinet that you chug instead of taking the dose?  Nope.

What fundraisers did you participate in elementary school?  I don't think we really did fundraisers in elementary school.  We sold candy in high school choir to help pay for tour, and I was REALLY good at it.  I think I sold eleven or twelve bags my sophomore year, the next closest sold maybe four.

Were you ever a girl scout?  Not remotely my thing.  I think my older sister did it, though.

I'm boring today.

This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
Is there anything in your medicine cabinet that you chug instead of taking the dose?
Nope. I don't take medicine too often to begin with, so when I do, the 'recommended' dose is plenty.<div>
What fundraisers did you participate in elementary school?
Oh just the standard door-to-door candy and wrapping paper and whatever. Also, for high school track and field we used to work in Papa Johns and the ice cream stand at Twins baseball games and monster truck rallies. That would bring in a chunk of change. Way more fun than anything door-to-door.</div><div>
Were you ever a girl scout?
I still am! Yes! I am a major nerd, and I am a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts. I actually didn't join until 8th grade though, which is a bit backwards. The story there is that my little sisters would go to Girl Scout Day Camp in the summer and they would talk about the Junior Counselors at camp called "Caddies" and it just sounded like a lot of fun to lead songs and games and stuff with the little girls at camp, so I joined just to be a Caddy at camp.</div><div>
</div><div> Then, I found out one of my good friends was in a troop, so I joined the troop and ended up getting both my Silver Award and my Gold Award. Since high school, I still help out at camp in the summers and right now I'm helping my niece's troop as their troop cookie manager.</div><div>
</div><div>Also, it's really sucky that guys freakin' put "Eagle Scout" on their applications for the rest of their lives and everyone knows what the heck that means. I feel like if guys can do that, I should be able to put my Gold Award. The only problem is that nobody actually knows what that means, so then I have to put "equivalent to Boy Scout Eagle" even though it pains me greatly to have to write that (I personally think the Girl Scout Gold Award is much more difficult to earn than the Boy Scout Eagle...it's an ongoing debate between me and FI, lol).

• Is there anything in your medicine cabinet that you chug instead of taking the dose? Not any more. I used to chug Dimetapp for my allergies when I was in jr. high/high school...but then they changed the formula and it just wasn't the same.

What fundraisers did you participate in elementary school? Pretty much the only things I've ever sold are pizzas and candy bars for band and girl scout cookies, which leads me to...

Were you ever a girl scout? yep. And I was downright adorable in my beret and vest. I was a brownie and a girl scout, but unfortunately didn't stick with it into high school. It was a lot of fun and I know how to tie so many knots it's ridiculous.

• Emily: You should use it, and when people ask, you could say "It's sort of like an Eagle Scout, but harder."
• I don't know about anyone else, but the boy scouts in my area used to sell lobsters. Random, I know. My parents would throw an annual surf and turf party every year and buy crap loads of Lobster off one kid, who eventually became my first boyfriend.

• Is there anything in your medicine cabinet that you chug instead of taking the dose? Nope...I have a hard enough time taking the little dose of liquid medicine-yuck.

What fundraisers did you participate in elementary school?  I remember fundraisers, but I don't remember what they were.  Selling magazines or candy or something else that everyone else does?

Were you ever a girl scout? No, I really wanted to be, but my mom made me join 4-H instead because I lived on a farm, and could learn a lot of "lessons" or something.  I showed sheep for six or seven years and could hardly tell you a thing about it.  Totally LOVE the cookies, though!
• Is there anything in your medicine cabinet that you chug instead of taking the dose?
     i dont take otc medicines

What fundraisers did you participate in elementary school?
not many- although i run a few of them now for the rabbit rescue i volunteer for

Were you ever a girl scout?
my mom wouldn't let me. she said i'd hate it. and i probably would have.

• I'm surprised that the boy scout fundraisers are all different.  Ours sell Christmas trees.
• I am almost positive that boy scouts in my old area don't sell lobsters anymore.

As a girl scout, we sold calendars in the fall, but they didn't really sell so we then started selling nuts.
