Dress Decision Help!!!

Re: Dress Decision Help!!!

  • I like the first one, it looks more chic and summery to me. And the back is lovely.

We must have the same tastes, I loved both of those dresses when I saw them online.  I actually bought the Desirae and I'm in love with it (they didn't have the Caprice at the store I went to so I didn't get to try it on).  I have a fairly simple fingertip veil with minimal beading so as not to detract attention from the detail in the dress.  Good luck!

The first one is awesome. I tried that one on as well and looks great. Also, it could potentially double up as an evening gown if you cut the train after the wedding.

  • I prefer Caprice- the back is awesome, but the super shiny fabric of the Desirae just doesn't float my boat.

I have to say the above poster is completely right.  The Caprice looks like more of an evening gown with a train than a wedding dress.  If you are going for a very informal look (is this a club club or a country club?) then this dress could be right for you.  Otherwise, I would think that you wouldn't want your wedding dress to be an evening gown with a train.

On that note, I think the Desirae combines the beautiful elements of the Caprice but is slightly more wedding-gowny - if that makes sense.

Additionally, I think I counted two PPs who mentioned that they would be wearing the Caprice to their own weddings.  I don't know about you, but that would bother me.

Either way, they're both beautiful... Just depends on the look you are going for.
