What type of work do you do? I think I remember you saying you work with the family business. For some reason I imagine that your family owns the appliance store in that movie "that thing you do". I have no idea why I think that I just do. Do you work in that appliance store?
    Posted by dmiller9274
Haha, I do not. My mom is an interior designer, she does plans mostly for cottages, since we live in the big time cottage area. My step-dad owns a plumbing company. They both work out of a showroom, in which we carry plumbing fixtures, like sinks, bathtubs, all that, and bathroom accessories, like really nice towels and soaps.

Basically, I do all of the showroom sales for the small things (soap and stuff), and I answer the phone, take messages, look after the store when they're not here, and I do billing for my step-dad's company, as well as ordering inventory, etc. Just whatever they need me to do.

Do you drink beer? If so, what's your favourite? If not, what is your alcoholic beverage of choice?

  • Andplusalso, anything I've read or heard has always been Kara-El, Zor-El, Jor-El, Kal-El, etc, as in from the House of El. It didn't make sense in my brain that Kara-(Zor)-El would have her father's full name in her name.

For reading, I love native american literature (such as anything by W Michael Gear and Kathleen O'Neil Gear). I also love fantasty-type novels, like Cassandra Clare and Anne Bishop (thanks to katie).

For writing, I guess you'd call it general fiction. My first two books are more drama/action. This newest one is also fiction, but with fantasy elements thrown in.

In my drinking days, I always had beer. My favorite is Mich Ultra, but I'm not too picky, when I comes to beer, I'd drink any of it

I like Harry Potter. I'm not obssessed, but they were decent books, and unlike Twilight not horribly written. HP was about the importance of friendship and overcoming adversities in the face of complete hopelessness; Twilight was about how important it is to have a boyfriend.

I read a couple of her books. It's been so long though. I read Are You There God, It's Me Margaret, Tales of A Fourth Grade Nothing, Blubber, Fudge and Superfudge. They were alright, but pretty far below my reading level when I read them.

I have not, although my brother plays Runescape like mad. WoW was the first one I got into, and I've never really been out of it enough to warrant playing a free one. I think after WoW they'll all seem really lame.

I will admit, I was an avid Castle Age player on Facebook for a while. But I didn't like having to add random strangers, so I made a seperate account, which Facebook then deactivated for being fake. I was piiiissed.

I played a lot of RPGs, mostly the PlayStation ones (Final Fantasy up to X, Zelda, that kind of thing), but 95% of my friends are nerdy guys, and they all played. So that's how I got into it. I probably won't delve into anything new. I may or may not have dropped out of high school in part because of WoW. Mostly because it was boring and drilling a hole through my foot with a blunt stick would've been more informative than most of my classes, but WoW was what I did to distract myself from the tediuousness of it all.

Its a great movie, and the trail they are on is in Kauai and it's the one my DH wants to go on, but I wont go it takes a permit and they suggest 3 days, in and out. But where you end up is a beach known to be on of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Rent it, its a fun movie.
