  • Evening ladies.

Erin, I think SB is right. Obviously someone on the show was trying to sound smart.

I just spent way too much time looking at animal photobomb pictures - thanks Bay.  :)

I still have an hour left of work and I'm struggling.  Had some sleepwalking adventures last night so by bum has been dragging today.

Erin -- I had the same problem before I was medicated.  Still happens sometimes.  It sucks *HUGS*

Ehh, I don't think you need to be diagnosed to know you have anxiety. Sounds like a form of social anxiety or agoraphobia. I'm a psych major, but obviously not an expert.

I just went into my GP, told her I get occasional anxiety and she gave me a prescription. I try not to use it unless my anxiety is really bad, but lately I feel like I want to take it everyday, so I may need to go back in and talk to her.

Love this. I get you. Even though I'm a Floridian, I was raised by southern parents and in a more "southern" type of area in FL. Our guest room is also our wedding room too so there is that. And I'm working the week before the wedding so I want to come home and relax.

What area of NC are you in? I've been wondering but not in a creeper sort of way.

  • Ugh, I'm totally clueless about being a hostess. It's going to be so weird to me when I have my own place and I have company and I have to be all accomodating and stuff.

  • I live in the Raleigh area.  I grew up on the West Coast of FL though, near Tampa.  Whereabouts are you?
  • Hey now - we have hostessing standards up here in the northeast too!  :-)

I'm with you on feeling like you have to plan every second when someone is visiting - even if it's my best friend who I've known forever, I still feel like we need to have "events" happening or I'm doing a bad job.

I can understand that... but if it stays this way for too long or gets even worse, it might be worth the trip. Honestly, I don't know what I'd do without my medicine. Sometimes I feel like I could die of anxiety, which sounds ridiculous, but to me, it's just such an awful feeling and even knowing that I have medicine should I need it makes me feel less anxious.

  • Especially with people who haven't been to NC- I have to PROVE how great it is here.  So it's like, whatever they like, i have to show that NC IS THE BEST AT THAT.  It's almost agressive niceness.  Oh, you like beer well SEE HOW AWESOME OUR BEER IS.  DRINK IT.  DRINK SOME MORE.
  • Poke, the sushi now is gone :(

But, I'm also extremely full, because I always get 4 rolls.. so I'm okay with it being gone now, haha. My room is going to have to wait a bit though, being full makes me SO tired. It'll wear off, I just have to wait it out.

My brother's my MOH, he thinks "man of honor" sounds way superior to best man.  It was kind of hilarious to watch him debate with FI's brother (the best man) which title was "better."
