Ok Ladies I need some help advice and most of all prayer,
So you may not know but FI and I live in different states. He lives in Atlanta and I live in Baltimore. After the wedding I will be relocating to Atlanta. SO that means finding a JOB. Well the economy is bad and jobs are scarce, but it is really bad in Atlanta and the job market is HORRIBLE. As I have said before I need some help and most of all prayer. Currently I am a teacher, I have two masters degrees and I have a lot of experience doing different things. My undergrad is in Criminal Justice with a minor in political science, my first masters is in Administration and Supervision. My second masters is in Professional Studies with a concentration in Human Resources. Lastly I have a certificate in management and leadership and another one in grantwriting.
I am starting to look for a job but reading the blogs and the newspaper everyday is a bit discouraging. They talk about how hard it is to get a job in Atlanta. I dont want to cause a financial hardship on my husband early on in the marriage SO I HAVE TO GET A JOB! I wanted to get an early jump on looking for a job. I am not getting marring until May and I am not moving until June. But based on how bad the market is, I am starting now. What advice do you ladies have? Anybody know anybody in Atlanta that is hiring or can give me the job hook up. I have an extensive resume. I have taught but have done other administrative things as well. For example I have dont Human Resource stuff as well as a program manager for two different companies as a part time. I dont really have to teach. I am willing to take another job until I get another teaching job. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. If you are a Knottie that is hiring or know someone that is, send me a private message and I will send you my resume. I have already started to pray. Now I have faith....but you know faith without works is DEAD! Help...I know its not really wedding relatied, but it kinda is. This is causing stress on us already and I dont want it to.
