Hey ladies! It's Monday, oui? We just got back from St. Lucia last night and I woke up on island time (meaning the break of dawn, literally).

What is everybody up to? I feel like I have been MIA forever (which I have)...

Good morning! I slept so well last night and it has put me in such a great mood this morning. Numbers - you're brave for going to St Lucia during the height of hurricane season. Sounds like you had fun, though.

I dropped my phone over the weekend, so now I have this lovely green Tron-like laser line going down the screen. Not cool, dude. I've had this phone <6 months. I wonder if it's covered under my phone insurance plan.

True Blood last night was awesome. Just...yum.

A trip to St Lucia sounds fabulous!

This week should be a good one. The new research assistant starts today finally. We're goinmg to a really nice place for restaurant week on Wednesday and then Thursday I have a work dinner at my favorite Italian place. Good food makes any week better.

Megh, My DH had that line down his phone for almost two years! I was just a flip-phone though, on the front screen, so it didn't make the phone entirely useless.

We are only there for the early part of hurricane season...in my 6 trips I have endured one tropical storm, and at least 3 or 4 tropical depressions, but no hurricane yet.

Yeah, this is a Samsung Galaxy SII, so it's really bothering me. I swear, I should only be allowed one of those Jitterbug phones when I go out drinking with my friends. I have gravity issues when I've had a few beers.

Mehg that sucks about your phone. Hopefully it's covered under warranty or insurance.

I'm so tired this morning. We stayed up way later than planned watching the Olympics and I'm going to pay for it today. Thank goodness we don't have any interviews at work today. All morning I thought I had three today, but nope they are tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday. Which reminds me, I need to figure out some questions to ask...

ETA: omg I just logged into FB and the first thing that popped up is a baby shower cake... A mom's belly, boobs and lower lady parts (wearing lingerie?) and a foot coming out of the belly. Ack. And the girl was tagged in the photo by her dad. Am I the only one that finds this kind of creepy?

I dont know what happened there.

Iam doing a half day today, I have to go back into the hospital just after lunch for another ultrasound and I am hoping they dont make me wait around to not get my results like last time so that I can run some errands before I go home after.

3 more sleeps till fucking montreal though!

Morning. Between Sadie and H I barely slept last night. We have a new person in the office today that transferred from N Arkansas. It will be interesting to have a second girl now. Shay, that cake is definitely weird.

Nope, still no idea. I dont have a follow up with my doctor until the middle of the week and Im not really confident he will know anything. I fully expect for him to say im fine and my issues are caused by my weight, and that I just need to lose some. You know, his usual spiel.

Morning. I really need to stop staying up until midnight to watch the Olympics. I am seriously paying for it today.

Just work today, and I might go to Kohl's after work to use my gift card. I was going to go Wednesday but we decided to go to the cabin Tuesday night so there went that plan.

I tried out my new running shoes yesterday, and they're awesome. I felt like an Olympian, lol. Hey, whatever it takes to get motivation, right?

Now I can't wait for my new boots to get here. It's a bummer that they had to ship all the way from Ontario. I always worry about stuff coming through customs.

Morning,

I also need to stop staying up to watch the Olympics. Gymnastics is always my favorite to watch since I was a gymnast back in the day. I had my u/s of the lump this morning and of course... a year later it's still nothing and looks like normal tissue. That's cool but I can't wear a bra because it hurts like hell. Oh, but I'm making that up..... I hate doctors.

<div>Yeah that helps a little bit. It's mainly the underwire of a bra that bothers it because of the location, or any bra regardless of underwire. I'm hoping my primary care will have me go to a specialist, even though it technically was a specialist that sat in the u/s today. </div>

I stayed up till 4 on Saturday which never happens, which also meant I couldn't sleep at all last night. grr. And I was still to tired to be very productive so my house is a disaster. Someday, someday, I will find motivation to scrub it and organize it.

This summer is just flying by for me--I can't believe I only have two weeks left of summer work and then a few weeks before going back to real work. It's insane. I'm thinking of tring to find a cheap cabin or something so we can get away for a few days before I go back.

morning everyone- sorry to hear so many are sick! I am still doing doing so great myself and I may be developing a cold on top of it all.

This day is starting out massively annoying- I got halfway to work and realized my computer was still at home... so I had to turn around. Boo.

We had a nice weekend, but a quiet one. I was sick most of the weekend so we mostly hung at home.

Morning ladies!

We had a pretty unproductive weekend. H had his concealed carry class all day Saturday, so I did a bit of shopping and hung out with the pup. Yesterday, I had a headache as soon as I got up, so I laid down for a bit. Once I was better, I worked in the yard a bit,and Skyped with the grandbaby. I started working on my wreath last night, and I really need to remember that the hot glue goes on the shell not my finger!

Today I have to help my boss get his budget binders ready for his meeting in Chicago this week.

Duds- H and I had that crud for about 2 weeks. I think we ate mucinex like candy.
