I dont feel like complaining about work shiit for the umpteenth time tonight so I will tell two stories.
I vaguelly recalled hearing a story about my grandma's family being connected somehow to the titanic. I emailed my aunt lastnight to check and I was right. Apparently my great grandparents were married in 1911 and had booked passage on the Titanic to immigrate to Canada but my great grandfather got impatient and wanted to start their life asap so he talked her into booking on an earlier ship. I sorta wonder if its like that phenomenon about planes when tons of people cancel when the plane is going to crash, like intuition? How weird is that.
Another, I tweeted at the punch brothers (that band I saw in february) and asked if they were coming back here and their manager msgd me back and turns out theyre probably coming back in September!! Im so excited
Nebb, I think about that stuff all the time. I don't know if it's intuition, but I always kind of freak out about the number of things that had to happen (and the number of thinds that had to NOT happen) for me to exist at all. All my ancestors had to do exactly the things they did or whoops! No more me. Ugh. It keeps me up at night.

Loopy--Okay, I was trying to remember where you were originally. A girl from my job up and moved to CO a year ago and now our chem teacher is doing the same. I want to travel out there.
Arwo, thanks! You get to be the first. Actually, I just got that pic because my photog wanted us to enter a contest so she emailed me a fckload of pics. How have you been, lady? I've been checking you out (and being intimidated) on Fitocracy.

Hey guys! I'm about to start dinner, but I'm re-figuring out how to write a resume. I'm pretty sure, depending on the other applicants, I could totally get this job.
I like that area so much. We honeymooned in Keystone. There's a nice bike path all around the Dillon reservoir, and all the way to Breckenridge on one end and Copper Mountain on the other..
Yeah, it's a really nice area. H and I spent a weekend in Breckenridge in February. Skied one day, wandered around town a bit, just enjoyed time together. It was a lot of fun.
Thank you guys And, yeah, I want to come to the mountains, ever since Nancy Drew solved a murder in some Rockies mountain town. I mean, we have mountains, but they're babies. They're like moun-fives.
I really have to get some dishes done and make a test but I am way too comfortable now. Stupid exercising.
Any, yay for job app. I'll send job app vibes your way.
Arwo, same old same old. I hate work this year and my mom's been sick, but it's getting better. The H and I have been planning our trip to Hawaii, which makes me happy, and being real adults, which sometimes makes me happy.
Good evening. I just got finished presenting my project for my class via webcam. It was such a pain in the ass to have 5 different windows open at once to do my PowerPoint and everything that went with it. I messed up a few times too. I thought I would be less nervous not being able to see anyone, but I was wrong.
I saw two people with a "we're homeless" sign on my way home. I typically don't pay attention to that sort of thing, but this was nagging at me. I went to a drive thru and grabbed several burgers and I had about 5 bottles of water (obviously unopened) in my car. I went to give it to them but they were gone. I drove down a little bit more and they were sharing a granola bar. I took that as they may have actually been hungry. The look in their eyes when I gave them the food and water made me cry almost the whole rest of the way home. I couldn't imagine being in that position.

Stuff like that freaks me out. When I was watching random documentaries on the anniversary I was telling FI imagine what it would be like to be one of those people that were supposed to be on Titanic and weren't for whatever reason?
I just skimmed through the lovefest and I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy. I'm sorry I wasn't around for it today. I love you guys.
H and I went to see the Hunger Games tonight, we almost had the whole theater to ourselves, and, since we went to the early evening showing, we got in for the matinee price. Score.

I don't think I'll ever complain about the price of our tickets again. On Tuesdays it's 4.50 or something like that. Every other night is 7.75. They kill you with the price of popcorn and drinks.

<div>Yes, I am. I actually take all of my classes online. I work 830-530 so to be able to take 5 classes, it is really my only option. I've done mostly all of my classes this way. My degree plan is actually set up as online only. </div>
That's good customer service, Dot. I always like that, too.
Avs, yeah it's ridiculous, but it's even more expensive in the city. We usually spend about $25 between sharing popcorn/drink and cheap tix. Otherwise, it would be about $50 for the movie and popcorn.
Brandi, I did my Master's degree online for the same reason. I found it harder than in=person classes at times, TBH.
Nates- I think it is much harder. I have especially struggled this semester. I got my first tutor for quantitative economics and for the ACCESS project for my MIS class. I have never used ACCESS and don't have it at home, so essentially I have been trying to listen to a 60 year old man try to explain something via youtube at the library. Lost me in the first video.
I think it usually comes up to 30 but that's getting a combo and stuff. We rarely go though unless we have free tickets. The last couple of movies I had 2 free tickets, 2 drinks and 1 popcorn. I had like 6 of them haha.
I don't really like online courses either. Especially if you have a prof that's unorganized or doesn't understand technology.
So I just got back home. My sister called me a little over an hour ago telling me that my parents house was broken into while my Dad was there alone sleeping. She didnt know if he was ok or not so I flew out the door and drove over there.
He is ok, thank god. But it scared the shiit out of me.
