I think they're all awful rolemodels (which I don't think anyone DISagrees with), but they were hilarious. That was a serious guilty pleasure show of mine. One of my favorite episodes is when the girls are out and they turn the ENTIRE house inside out, and put all the pools and astroturf inside. Such a good one.

They did it to me too! Haha, I felt like I was doing things wrong after the 5th person asked me what my theme was. I had to start really fighting the urge to reply 'funeral themed'.

I get asked about theme a lot, too. I've come to believe that theme is such a broad word when talking about weddings. She could have just been asking about design elements or formality because she might do your hair differently for a backyard barbecue than a black tie event or she might incorporate a tropical flower if you are decorating with tropical-looking flowers. Theme doesn't always have to mean "OMGGG I'm going to have a Disney theme where all table numbers are a Disney character, we use Mickey hats for centerpieces, and our cake is shaped like Cinderella's castle" or "I'm pregnant and I'm going to decorate my wedding with all baby-related things and have only pregnant bridesmaids" (anyone else remember that girl).

    In Response to Re:FFF/LFF:
I flame people who take ages to get out thank you cards after their wedding or other events. My brother got married in October. I did a reading during the ceremony, and my FI and I gave them a nice card with a financial gift inside. I have yet to receive a thank you card. Worse, I've gotten to look at the pretty thank you card they sent to my parents my mom stuck it up on the bulliten board in her kitchen. And it's not a matter of mine getting lost in the mail; I mentioned it to my mother, who casually asked them if they got them all done yet, and she said they were quot;still working on friends and some lessmajor familyquot;nbsp; Posted by mandi195
Beats me. Something about the epidemic of type 2 diabetes and whether it will or will not affect the fate of the "cake and punch reception" some distant time in the future, I think. I couldn't get past the Wikipedia citation though. If you're going to be on a soap box that tall, you need some serious peer-reviewed journal publications to cite.
