    Wow. I completely agree that you should back out at this point.  ETA: this post was meant for the groomzilla thread. Don't know why it ended up here.
  • I would've expected to have to pay unless it was at someones house. I would feel like someone was generous if they picked up the tab.

  • My parents have hosted many birthday and anniversary parties at restaurants. They always send formal invites by mail and they pick up the tab including drinks. No they aren't rich, but they believe in hosting people correctly.
