  @southernpeach89 haha, we've lived together for almost 3 years...and our entertainment stand is two speakers with a piece of wood on top of them.  In our defense, though, we do have plans to build an entertainment stand.  We just have had other projects in the work before that one   It's getting closer to being realized.  I think FI is buying the wood on Thursday.

I don't loose them and chocolate can be risky in the mail - makes me wonder how we would do save the dates and invites for a destination wedding. @buddysmom80 - ring shopping is so much fin! @Swazzle- sending good vibes! Had a great weekend, love reading about you ladies. Aside from the super exciting ring shopping that we did we spent the weekend doing landscaping and moving my sisters to their new house. I also spent a little to much time on TK and Pinterest last night day dreaming.

  @Blue- I was talking to my Dad about TV stands this weekend and he said that he had two speakers and other materials as his TV stand too. I love it! FI and I are using a storage container as our coffee table right now haha...it bothered me at first because I wanted to use it to store some stuff in the office closet but w/e it works as a coffee table until we find a nice one lol.

  Magnets are the best. I still use save-the-date magnets after weddings because I'm too cheap to buy any. A golden ticket one would be super adorable.

  
  

  My weekend was ... kind of crappy? My partner spends most Saturdays with his brother, getting in brother time, so I woke up and did nothing. I watched a cheesy chick flick on Netflix and played with our parakeet. I got my nails done with my friend, which was nice (new salon we found is AWESOME--my nails don't chip for at least 2-3 days). I also grabbed dinner with an old friend from college. My evening was ruined, though, because I was really upset about the George Zimmerman verdict, and we ended up having to do a liquor store run right after that to deal with it.

  
  

  Sunday, we slept in and then took the T foreeeever to hang out with one of my best friends. She's been having a rough time with her new job, and she just moved here from across the country, so we're trying to spend as much time with her as possible. We watched the second Harry Potter movie (we're going through them in order because my partner hasn't seen any of them) and caught up on Hell's Kitchen before heading back home.

  
  

  So why was this weekend crappy? Because I've been feeling EXHAUSTED and I'm supposed to be finishing my first draft of my qualifying exam proposal, and I just can't seem to write it! I stayed home today to work from home on it, and I've barely written a page. I definitely do NOT feel qualified, that's for sure! I wanted to have it done by today so I could rewrite it this week and get my final draft in by the first week of August. Screeeeeeewed.
