Everyone headed over to Proboards (http://tktreehouse.proboards.com/) after Stage and Linger were banned without warning. Happened about 1-2 months ago maybe. It sucks a lot more around here now.

Stage and Linger got banned. CMGr GBCK'ed and some of the other users were mysteriously locked out of their accounts that same day. Addie stuck around for a bit but I think she ultimately left.

No one is really sure.

The KGs have been incredibly ellusive and quiet.

Unfortunately, things are starting to get out of hand by the overwhelming amount of "Do whatever you want, honey! It's YOUR special day" posters.

So...

When I was last on here, TK =/= Weddingbee...

Now... ??

Getting rid of mods was stupid.
Trying to implement secret mods, does not fix it.
Getting rid of the people actually trying to ensure you didn't lose friends over a PPD was stupid.

I enjoy browsing these boards, I've learned a lot, and always thought it was the best wedding info site there was.
In my personal opinion, the puppies and rainbows approach doesn't work.

Awwww! I feel loved!

After the bullshit bannings, I debated whether to stay or go at all, so I started limiting my time here. Then I got a teaching job, so I'm crazy fucking busy now. I can't be online at work at all b/c the entire campus is like a dead zone for mobile internet, and having taken a year off from teaching, it is really hard getting back into the swing of things, especially in a new place, so when I get home, I'm pretty wiped out and not in the mood for being online much.

Exactly. If I wanted puppies and rainbows, I would go outside in the rain with a puppy.

So, basically, it's all gone fruit-loopy.
This makes me sad.

I learned so much from here, from the regs that weren't afraid of telling it straight (and for all their rights or wrongs, I'm going back to Lucy/Edie days).

Now you've got to spend so long figuring out how to word advice so as not to break the speshul snowflakes feelers... Is it really worth the time?

So many names are missing from current threads, it's sad. Bear (both goodluck and bchs), Kmmssg, Banana, Hoboken, Musu, Muni...
Surely KGs don't really want to turn the place into WBee???

WB means Brides are happy to stay and will spend more cash cos their bad ideas are being validated. You've been around long enough to know that. I'm with you that I miss lots of the reg too, both the more recent ones and the older ones too. Life is really being sucked dry out of these boards that it's getting so frustrating to try and stay around

There's a chance I may be re-starting wedding planning in the next few weeks, and I think I've learned enough now for if I get a question I'm stuck with, I'll be able to pick the good answers from the bad, and I do genuinely like it around here...

I'm glad to see a coupla people are still around, and that some unfamiliar names at least have the common sense to continue the attempt to quash awful plans.
