  My experience was that I got a bunch at first, very few leading up to the deadline and then all the rest (except for a few stragglers) in the last day and then a day after. I started following up with people a few days after the deadline. Don't worry! If they don't respond, just split the list with your FI and start making phone calls.

  ditto southernbelle0915, we got a bunch at first and then a few here and there followed by a rush at the end.  many came afterwards too so give yourself time to allow for stragglers without stressing out

  Same as the above. We got a bunch at the beginning, and currently not very many, with a fair number left to respond.
