Morning, ladies! What's up for the weekend?

Mine is filled with sports. H and I have a Devils game tonight and tomorrow night. I'm especially excited for tomorrow's game because H's friend and his wife are coming with us and I love them. We always have a great time together. Sunday, the Eagles play at 1 so I'll be at the bar for that. Hopefully my 2 teams will be 3 for 3 this weekend!

Tonight I'm going grocery shopping (boring!).

Saturday I'm cleaning my house, then I have a hair appointment, BF's working OT so I'm hoping I get most of the cleaning done without him around. If it's nice out I'll hang up Christmas lights, which I've been planning on doing for the past few weekends, the weather just hasn't been cooperating.

Sunday I'm deep-cleaning the upstairs of our house to prep for my parent's visiting for Thanksgiving. I'll catch up on laundry and then watch the Pats play Sunday night.

Today I'm working from home so I'll be doing some cleaning around the house, plus I need to update my iPod playlist. We don't have anything special planned tonight. I just want to take it easy and make brown sugar glazed pork chops for dinner.

Tomorrow I think I'm going to sneak down to the outlets to use a 60% off coupon (want to meet me at 10a @tuarceatha?). Then my sister, niece, nephew, mom and dad will be here around 1p. We're going to go to the railroad museum and probably the park.

Sunday I am running my sixth half marathon. It's going to hurt, but it should be a pretty course (along the Potomac River). Then we'll probably all go eat together somewhere (preferably with champagne, it's a post-race tradition), and then I'll come home and nap.

Today I'm running some errands and cleaning a bit after I go to CrossFit. Tonight FI and I are going on a double date at this sushi restaurant over by where we are getting married. We have never been there before so I hope it's good.

Saturday morning I'm treating myself to a massage and facial! I need one and it's going to be amazing. Then FI and I are going shopping for some curtains for the living room for like the 6000th time. I have Pottery Barn coupons so that's our first place to visit tomorrow. That night my friend just graduated from grad school so we are going to watch the GA vs. Auburn game with her and her H and celebrate.

Sunday is church and after that I need to go grocery shopping for Monday thru Wednesday because our relatives start arriving Thursday afternoon and I have no idea what we will be eating that day just because we will running around like chicken with our heads cut off.

Still working this weekend .. blech. I hate working weekends, or rather, I'd like to have a few days off, but Thanksgiving is coming, right?

Tonight BF has gaming, so I'll be going along to that group. Tomorrow I have to do laundry in quantity. Great quantity. Mount Laundry has spread into other rooms. I can't wait until I have in-dwelling laundry because then I will do laundry all the damn time. Sunday is for football, of course. And maybe this weekend I'll keep working on my new scarf. I'll have to find a class to teach me to Kitchener the two halves together and to seam the ends closed. My seaming looks like a two-year-old did it with sewing cards.

My weekend started Wednesday because H and I took time off to paint some rooms in our house. Yesterday we primed the garage walls (it was just bare dry wall), and today we will paint it all white. We also need to prep the other two rooms we are painting. We'll be painting the one room on the first floor up to the second floor kitchen and living room space. Confession: We still haven't settled on colors. Correction, I know what colors I want. Mr. Indecisive isn't sure. So we'll like be painting through Sunday evening.

Today H and I are headed to a cabin retreat in Michigan with our doggie! The cabin is huge (3 bedrooms) and we have it all to ourselves. I'm really stoked and can't wait to head out.

tomorrow I'm practicing Thanksgiving recipes! woo-hoo!!

Sunday we have church and then we're celebrating my mom's birthday (it's actually today).

Tonight I have to clean a bit then I'm just relaxing and address the last of our STD's. I'm also rereading Catching Fire so I should be able to finish that up tonight. I'm pretty exhausted. Work has been so amazing and fun this week but tiring. FI is still on crutches at least for another 2 1/2 weeks so when he is home I have to get everything for him and he does nothing around the house. It's actually been exhausting... I hope the cast comes off in 2 1/2 weeks. It's been almost 2 months now. Ok venting over.

I am excited tomorrow morning my bridesmaids and I are going BM dress shopping. I'll post on Monday what they pick out. No other plans for the rest of the weekend so hopefully it will be relaxing and I'll get to scratch off a few more things off the to do list.

Tonight I'll be hanging around the house, studyin' and whatnot. I have been meaning to watch the movie "Hysteria" since forever so I might have to finally do that. Or I could just read (finally got some books that I have been meaning to read for a while).

Saturday is my final med-surg clinical of the semester. Thank goodness. So I'll get through that and then come back home and study.

Sunday I am meeting up with my BFF and her bridal party, and we are going bridesmaids dress shopping! She basically has her heart set on THIS one in Malibu, but we'll probably try on a few others just for kicks and giggles. She and her mom are making us breakfast before we go out shopping, so that will be incredibly nice to hang out with them and enjoy some girlie stuff for a while.

@minskat30 Have I mentioned I'm really jealous of your early birthday cabin trip? It sounds like so much fun!

I'm working from home today so I'm going to try to get stuff picked up around the house, do the dishes and the laundry...super fun stuff like that. BF is going with a coworker to some woodworking shop after work tonight so I'll be on my own for awhile. I'm thinking about going to the Loft and shopping because they are having a 40% off everything sale!

Tomorrow BF and I seriously need to go to Costco and buy some lawn bags and other stuff. Our backyard is entirely covered in leaves and we have two big piles in our front yard because we ran out of lawn bags when we were raking last weekend. I don't know why we even bothered...our yard looks like we didn't rake it at all. Afterwards, BF and I going to the baby shower of a daughter of a family friend. It's more of a couples shower type of thing...so they'll have football on all the TVs and drinks and food and no silly games.

Sunday we'll probably focus on cleaning the house again even though we just did it about a week ago and raking leaves. My cousin and her husband and two kids are staying with us for the wedding plus we'll have lots of relatives stopping by at different times to see our new house so I just want everything to look fresh and neat. We won't have time next week to clean...too much wedding prep going on.

@peaseblossom55- I remember addressing STD's....it's rather annoying lol. It takes so long! It's super exciting dropping them off though and knowing that they are out there being delivered. Have fun BM dress shopping! Can't wait to see what y'all pick out!

ETA: @lmhollister- Now that your leaf piles are messed up, you and Cinders should run through them and take cute pictures of Cinders playing in the leaves!

@Arnapola14 That's a beautiful BM dress! Ours are a similar style in chiffon although the color is called "Midnight". I ended up having spaghetti straps added to mine just to bring the neckline up a little higher but otherwise I think it's a wonderful dress.

Today I'm driving down to FI's. I think we're going to spend the night cuddled up with chocolate milkshakes and a jigsaw puzzle. Tomorrow we're going to see Thor with his best friend and one of his flings. Then I'm driving up to MA to visit my parents since FI has a Mason event that I can't go to. Staying with my parents until Sunday night when I'm visiting my old fraternity for their brother inductions and get to see my grandlittle get inducted!

@buddysmom80 Yeaaa, to be more honest he did all the browsing of thousands of paint colors and narrowed it to 2 or 3. Then we went to Sherwin Williams and bought samples. I like all the sample paint. So I had the easy decision to make.

Tonight I am going to a Zumba party at the gym which is a fundraiser for the Kids' Food Basket here in GR. The goal is to put together 50 baskets for needy families for Thanksgiving, I love my gym! I'm donating some frozen turkeys.

H ordered his PS4 online (He's a butthead-the PS4 was what I wanted to get him for Christmas, now I'm idea-less) so I imagine he'll be plopped in front of the TV with his headset on shooting at people while I work out. Hot date, huh?

Tomorrow we are going to the football game between our rival colleges where I will TRY not to eat all of the foods, but will probably fail. At least we're in a suite so we'll be out of the elements.

@lmhollister - We are excited. I think we are more excited that we get to take our dog with us on vacation than anything else. He's huge so any place that is within driving distance AND excepts dogs is heaven.

@radleyboo - The Zumba party sounds awesome! How often do you do Zumba? I haven't been to Zumba in like 4 months.

@southernpeach89 - I can't believe your wedding is so freaking close! Everything in order? I hope you are taking time off before the wedding to just absorb it all.

@buddysmom80 - Crap, you just reminded me that we have to get our decorations up. H is leaving for India in early December (I'll follow latter....stupid work) so we have to get them up next weekend.

This weekend we are have nothing planned - I"m so excited! But maybe last year I spilled coffee on my Macbook, so we're taking it to the Genius Bar to find out how much it will cost to fix (le sigh).

Other than that - nothing! We bought a bunch of new board games off Amazon, so maybe we will try some of those out if they are for two players

My weekend is once again filled with work. Hopefully I will get the manuscript I'm working on completely finished so I can give it to my boss on Monday. Bonus - it is chapter 3 in my dissertation. 19 days and counting until it is due!

I will probably watch at least one football game this Sunday too. Missing all the games was sad last Sunday, and I found out I'm extremely distracted by football even when I'm not watching the games (checking scores and fantasy online).

@radleyboo our colors are light pink and yellow with accents of cream and gold, the bridesmaids dresses will be some shade of light pink.

@southernpeach we already had a few bunches go out earlier in the week, the last group will hopefully go out tomorrow. I got comment from one of my bridesmaids yesterday saying how much she liked it.

@TwoDimes BF's parents make us do the same thing when we visit even though we live together. His mom is pretty religious so I don't let it bother me. When we went to visit his grandparents earlier this year he told me she was really strict about couples sharing a room too but lo and behold she ended up letting us share a room together! He and I were both in total shock. This is the woman who wouldn't allow her own son to share a room with his FI! Because the children might see or something...

My weekend is filled with work, as usual. I have a hockey game tonight, then will probably grab a drink with a couple girls from work. I'm not going to stay out too late though, because I have our big rivalry football game tomorrow (longest college football rivalry in NY State, boom!) at noon, so I have to be over there by like 1030 or so. Then I have to come back to campus for our men's hockey game against the same school!

Sunday will be some relaxing. I feel like BF & I talked about doing something special, but I can't remember what. It'll probably involve eating and watching football

@tuarceatha I have sooo many paint samples. Those little jars are all in the basement, I should throw them out before I change my mind again.

@livleighton hopefully this weekend are the outdoor lights I'm putting up. We put colored lights on the two shrubs by the front door, some light-up animated deer and some other stuff too. BF wants to get a light-up Yoda dressed up as Santa, I don't know how I feel about that. Have fun in Newport! I haven't been there in so long!

@twodimes my dad is pretty old-fashioned so when we visit, I sleep in the guest bedroom and BF sleeps in the guest house. He (bf) likes it because he can sleep in until I walk over there and wake his ass up for breakfast goodness! When they visit though we sleep in the same bed (BF and I). It's weird, I know.

Hi friends! Busy weekend here! Tonight @loves2shop4 shoes and are double dating. Shoes and I are scheming to make our H's friends:)

Tomorrow I head to Purdue for a wedding on campus. The couple met there and dated in college, went there separate ways, and then found each other again a few years ago. Should be a fun time! I'm looking forward to it, but also looking forward to a break from weddings. H and I have had 18 over the last two years. As much as I like love, I'm ready for a break!

Sunday, there will be football. Just not sure if it will be at my place or a bar.

@livleighton - Have an awesome anniversary weekend!

Tonight, I thought we were going to do happy hour with BF's coworkers, but he had to work from home today due to his boss being out this morning, so we might not now. I was all ready to go out (mainly because I bought a new shirt yesterday), but BF was just saying that he wants to go buy a bunch of alcohol and ingredients and try to make some fancy cocktails at home. I'm not entirely opposed to that idea, but seeing as I spend the majority of my week with either a dog or a 12 year old, I'm usually craving some social interaction by the weekend. We'll see....

No plans for tomorrow other than taking the pup to a dog park and cleaning. On Sunday, BF has to work in the morning and then we'll probably go out to Long Island to have dinner with my mom, stepdad, and youngest sister, since I won't be home for Thanksgiving.
