  We picked our date based on time of year, honeymoon planning, availability of family and availability of venue. October 4th. I thought nothing of it until FI said he'll never forget our anniversary because if I ever ask him if he remembers he can say "10-4 good buddy!" Sigh

  Someone I know got married on their five-year anniversary at the church, just them, white dress, hair and make-up, on a Tuesday. Then had their reception that Saturday. Same dress, same hair, same make-up. They didn't do a fake ceremony. When you look at the pictures, it seems as though it all happened on the same day, except it was two differernt cities and states.

  EDIT: And had bridesmaids/groomsmen at the reception but not at the ceremony.
