Morning ladies! This has been the neverending week from hell but it's FINALLY Friday!

So what's up for the weekend?

As I'm typing these, I'm realizing that I have a whole lot of nothing planned. H will be at work all day tomorrow so I will likely clean and do laundry. Sunday, we made no plans for the SuperBowl so I'll probably throw some dips together for us to eat while we watch. And that's about it.

Wow. I'm boring.

@Swazzle - What dips are you making (if you've decided)? I can never make dips for just H and I because I'll eat them all.

Today I'm traveling in Wisconsin and tonight I'll be visiting with my family so that will involve a lot of wine.

Tomorrow H is going to join me in WI with the dog, we are going to drop our dog with my sister who has a big yard and some doggie friends and H and I are going to visit a town about 40 minutes from my family (we have a swanky hotel room, dinner plans, etc.). I've got to fit a workout in there too sometime.

Sunday we are headed back, picking up the dog and watching the Super Bowl!

This weekend is way too busy, so I might cut some activities just because the mood I am in today will probably stick around all weekend, and I could potentially butt-hurt some people.

Tonight we have nothing planned.

Saturday I have a Brazilian wax, then I'll head to the gym, then to Hobby Lobby. Saturday night I was going to go to my friend's house, but I hate her H and will probably butt-hurt him more than anyone so I might be "sick"

Sunday will be laundry and cooking for a Super Bowl party. Then we're going to the Super Bowl Party.

Happy Friday!

Tonight FI and I are having our weekly date night. We're going out to eat and then I'm not sure what else. Maybe bowling?

Tomorrow night we are having some friends over for dinner and game night. Then we may go out to see the band thats playing our reception...they happen to be playing at our wedding venue tonight!

Sunday we are going back to my hometown to see my family for a bit. I'm having nephew withdraws. After that, we are going to a Super Bowl party. I thought about making these no-bake cookies and cream bars I found on Pinterest.

Today is FI's poker night - my plan is to go home and crash
Saturday - I have to work for a few hours - other than that I'll probably sleep
Sunday - more sleep

<pity party>I have a cold... I have to say the congestion (sniffling/coughing/sneezing) is nothing compared to the joint pain I have going on right now - feels like I tried to run a marathon! </pity party>

I tried on some more dresses yesterday - I didn't like anything I tried on. I think I learned what I want though (more of a full A line- more fitted through the hip area). I also found out I have a battle going on in my head if I want more of a 'fun/flirty' dress or more of a 'romantic' dress. When I got home I guess I had registered to win a dress - I didn't win a FREE dress, but I won 30% off of a dress - so I'll give the place a shot. I have no idea what designers the shop has, there's very little info on the place out there.

@minskat30 - I'm leaning towards ST Buffalo Chicken Dip (with celery for me) and ST Creamy Parmesan Spinach Dip (with veggies for me). The spinach dip I made a couple years ago and it was kind of gross but that very well could have been an error on my part so I want to try it again because I love spinach dip. I've never made a ST recipe that I didn't like except this one and the first time I made her blue cheese dressing it was really gross but then I remade it and it's one of my favorites now.

@Dignity100 - I hope you feel better! Yay for winning 30% off a dress, that's awesome! My dress was a modified A-line. I didn't want something super poofy but I didn't want it stuck to my body either so it was the perfect compromise for me.

I'm tired this week seemed to drag out but I'm glad Friday is finally here.

Tonight I have to be at the theater to run concession for the show we have going on. Saturday I have rehearsal from early morning to mid afternoon. No plans at night except for some grocery shopping. Sunday I've got rehearsal mid day, then we will probably just relax at home watch the superbowl. We have no plans to go anywhere to watch it this year. Kind of a bummer but it's not like I have any investment in any of the teams anyways. It's a pretty boring weekend actually. I'm in a bit of a crisis mode in trying to figure out where to get ready the morning of the wedding. Sigh...

Happy Friday!!

Tonight we've got gaming. Tomorrow I'm practicing piano. Sunday we're off to a Super Bowl party with one of BF's coworkers. I'm bringing chili cheese dip and this morning I can't remember who on here suggested it. Thank you, mystery poster!

I'll cast on and start the KAL at some point; I also have to go through my unfinished objects and see how many baby afghans are in there. Maybe I won't have to knit extras.

I really need today to not suck. I've had 2 straight days of suck and I can't take a third!

Tomorrow I'm FINALLY going to get a haircut. I'm not joking or exaggerating in any way, when I say that my last haircut was in May of 2012, in the horse show parking lot, with a pair of dull scissors from the trailer dressing room door. The same scissors we use to trim(sometimes poopy) horse tails at the shows. My hair had grown so long that I couldn't properly fit it under my helmet (a requirement) so, my trainer hacked off half of my ponytail and sent me in the ring. But I'm going to an actual salon tomorrow! I haven't seen the inside of one of those since Elijah was maybe 2? My mom has just trimmed my hair for me all these years. I'm pretty excited about it LOL I think we're cutting it pretty short, like chin length. Mind you, my hair currently reaches the top of my ass. Locks of Love is not going to know what to do with this donation. I just want it short enough that it's easier to deal with and that it doesn't take 20-30 minutes to wash, condition and comb through.

Anyhow, Saturday night, I got nothin. And Sunday I guess we'll do some cleaning in the nursery room in the morning and then make dips and watch the Super Bowl in the evening. Other than that, it'll be a weekend to chill out.

BTW, has anyone seen these projected weather models for NEXT weekend?? I saw one today that said it could dump 24-30something inches I think it said, in MD, DE, NJ, and NY. NOT NEXT WEEKEND MAN! Too many plans next weekend!

This weekend looked promising but then I woke up with a cold sore. I feel gross and don't want to do anything. A while back BF said something really insensitive when I told him I used to get cold sores - basically that I should have warned him so he could avoid me like the plague whenever I get one - although I hadn't had one in the last 2+ years. I know he wasn't being deliberately hurtful but I keep thinking about it. So the breakfast date we had planned for tomorrow is probably canceled. Pity party, table of 1.

I'll probably keep the hair appointment I have scheduled for Saturday afternoon, because A) my colorist loves me unconditionally and gives me ALL the mimosas while he does my hair and

I cannot deal with these root anymore.

On Sunday the homeless outreach group I volunteer with is hosting a Super Bowl Party at the Atlanta Mission and I'm entered in the chili cook-off. Since I'm not a football fan, I love being able to just hang out and serve chili while other people watch the game.

@lalalaurita (I hope this chears you up) when @swazzle was visiting a few weeks ago, Bean took her for a personal tour of the National History Museum. In the Ocean Hall, there is a life size model of a Northern Pacific Right Whale. In the middle of the Hall, Elijah calls out "MOM! WHY DOES THAT WHALE HAVE HERPES??" Barnacles, Bean! THE WHALE HAS BARNACLES!!

Anyhow, I hope you feel better soon! I've never had one but I heard they suck!

@swazzle & @buddysmom80, oh there will be tons of Hair Porn afterwards. My friend, who is a hair stylist and runs her own little salon, is doing my hair. She's amazing. She's won a whole bunch of awards and shit. I can't wait!

My weekend is so not exciting but I'm still really happy it's Friday because this has been the longest week ever!

Today I'm working from home. I WILL get out of the house today for the first time since Tuesday morning. I am determined to. I'm seriously going stir crazy. I'm probably going to go to Hobby Lobby to buy some supplies so I can start making my ring bearer box and flower girl basket. I'm thinking of making something sort of like these.

At some point this morning I need to go throw together the marinade for dinner tonight. I'm making Yogurt Marinated Salmon Fillets with spicy potato curry.

Tomorrow we're going to finally get around to trimming our crepe myrtle trees. We didn't do it last Saturday as planned because it was absolutely frigid and windy outside and just not conducive to tree trimming. Tomorrow it's supposed to be nearly 60 here and sunny. On Sunday we're going to my parent's house to watch the Superbowl. I'm making Cream Cheese Jalapeno Crescents (clicky). They seemed pretty easy and delicious. And that's it for our weekend.

ETA: Oh and this isn't this weekend but I'm still excited for it. I'm getting my hair cut and highlighted on Monday! I haven't had an actual style cut in like...at least over a year if not more...just some basic trims so my hair feels really blah right now. I think I'm going to get some layers put in to add more body to my hair and frame some long bangs around my face. I haven't had my hair highlighted in nearly two years. It used to be pretty blonde on it's own but it's progressively turned to more of a light brown/dirty blond color and I really prefer it lighter.

this weekend was going to be super busy, but since the pink eye is back I can't run the tamale fundraiser. so it might be a bunch of sitting at home trying to keep my eyes from gunking over.

we're supposed to get 3 storm systems (progressively bigger, into winter storms) in the next 7-9 days. so I guess that's pretty exciting!

@lalalaurita - that was pretty insensitive of your BF.

My weekend is going to be boring as hell. Today is just a lot of studying (the first chance I've had this week to actually sit down and do work uninterrupted). Tonight is my co-worker's last shift at work, so I'm going to go over there at 7 with a gift and a little cake for her.

Tomorrow, studying. BORING. BFF and I haven't really communicated since we've both been so busy, but I'm gonna see if she wants to do dinner and a movie or something. Otherwise I'll stop studying sometime in the evening and at least curl up on the couch with something I want to watch on my own.

Sunday I work during the day. It's a desk shift, so...more studying! People at work have surprisingly excellent Super Bowl parties - we all know how to cook some tasty game foods - but I get off at 3 and I am not staying late. (I don't even know what time the game is on, TBH. I just don't care that much.) So I'll come home and relax before this next week starts back up. At some point through all of this I should really attempt to work out...

I remember the first time I dated my H, he made a comment about my curly hair. we were kissing and he was putting his hand in it, and he said something about how it got stuck and he couldn't run his hand down it! it hurt my feelings so bad, and even though he tells me all the time that he loves my curls, that little comment still sticks in my head.

I have a big day tomorrow. 8a running group. Then meeting @tuarceatha to do some shopping (I'm buying myself a 'congrats for winning your FFL' gift). Then I have to drop Toby off at the groomers. From there I'll walk to a tattoo shop to start consulting on my next tattoo (DH is NOT happy). From there I'll walk to my massage appointment, then to the jewelery store to drop off DH's watches that need batteries, then back to pick up Toby, then home.

We have NO plans on Sunday. I mean NONE. We have no idea where we're going to watch the Super Bowl, even.

At least I got a hot shower and remembered to apply deodorant.

Tomorrow I'm shopping with cu97tiger and then running errands with Mr. Tuarceatha.
Sunday we are going over to my BIL/SIL/MIL's house to watch men play football. I will be chatting it up with my MIL and eating all the snacks.

I'm glad it's Friday and spending the weekend with a Superbowl party and stuff like that, but I'm so done being at work. They gave the position I was semi eyeing to another reporter from our other office. I needed the gig so I could move closer to FI. New gyno gave me a new pill so life will be interesting with that. I JUST WANT IT TO BE 5:00 NOW.

Happy Friday!!!

My week dragged on, because I didn't have nearly enough to do. I did apply to tons of jobs, and hopefully will be hearing back from at least a couple soon. I only babysat for one day this past week, but will be doing it every day next week, so that will keep me busy.

I'm excited about this whole weekend. Tonight I might be heading into the city to do HH with FI and his coworkers. I've met two of them before, but I've never met his boss who's supposed to be there, so I'm looking forward to that. I also might meet him at his new office so I can see it, which would be fun.

Tomorrow we're heading about an hour upstate to go to a surprise 30th birthday for one of FI's friends. I don't think I've seen this group of his friends in about a year and half. I cannot WAIT to see his friend's baby, who is hands down, the cutest kid on my FB newsfeed.

Sunday we're heading back upstate, because the same friend invited everyone over for a Super Bowl party at his house the next day. I really can't wait to see the house, because they bought it cheap and did a ton of work on it, and FI said it's really nice. I'm going to make @Brisox81 's buffalo chicken dip, and hope that it knocks everyone's socks off so all FI's friends let him know just how lucky he is :-)

Well after being in a snowpocolypse all week, this weekend will be spent not inside our apartment. It was nice to get a couple days away from the office even though I still had to work from home.

Tonight we are going to CrossFit and H is letting me make spaghetti!! This is why I love this man so much! He lets me cook my favs when he is trying not to eat them. I'm about to start my period so I'm in the I want to eat everything mode.

Tomorrow I have some things that I do need to finish up for work unfortunately but H and I may make a trip to BBB to buy some things for our bathroom like new carpets and counter accessories. No plans for tomorrow night though...just hanging out. I'm going to prepare ahead of time my buffalo chicken rolls for the super bowl and stick them in the freezer that way on Sunday I can bake them right before the game starts.

Sunday we are going to church and then I need to clean a bit before we head over to my parent's house to watch the game. I'm going to eat so much this weekend...oh well.
