website address on invitations

Hey Ladies,
I feel like this has been asked on here before, but I can't find the post.

Is it ok to put our wedding website address on the invitations? I wanted to put something along the lines of
For directions and hotel accomodations, please visit.....w/ the link.

I'm not sure though, because our registry info is on the site as well, and I don't want people to think i'm putting it for that reason. I know putting anything registry or gift related is a big no no.

  • TR, I'd probably put that on an "Additional Information" card.

  • TR, I included some stuff about attire on the logistics/hotel/directions insert. (We needed to let the military guys know which uniform to wear).
  • Put all that stuff on an "Information" card.  I am having a directions/accomodations card and putting the website address on that.

  • I agreee on the seperate card with the web site info.  On the Save the Dates I sent mine out 8 months ahead.  But over 50 % of the guest are out of state and of that most will have to book flights if they can come
  • mine are on the save the dates... which was a little stressful trying to get the website done so early (my MOH designed our website) but worth it. Yes, info card rather than invite. My friend had 3 info card and had it on all three plus on the stamps.
