I had a wonderful alterations appointment, and luckily we determined no alterations are needed, other than to steam the dress, and while the dress was custom ordered to my height, I think it is a bit short given the shoes I'd like to wear. She mentioned stretching the dress as something she could do to make it a bit longer.
I have two questions for you:
1. Has anyone heard of stretching a dress before? Does it work? What does it usually cost to do this?
2. If you've had your dress steamed (to remove wrinkles) can you tell me what you paid to have this done?
