Tacky or cute, you decide

Re: Tacky or cute, you decide

  • Is it wrong that the thing I hated most about the many choices one was that every single word was capitalized?

MAYBE THEY WERE SHOUTING WHEN THEY WROTE IT.

EVERY TIME PEOPLE TYPE IN ALL CAPS I ASSUME THAT THEY ARE YELLING.  IT MAKES EVERYTHING  EXPONENTIALLY MORE HILARIOUS.

  • I have to say I thought most of them were funny.

  • Totally not necessary to reference the "f word" or the "c-word"! Tacky!
    I agree-this one's really tacky.

Beyond that, just unnecessary to me.  Not everything needs to be "cute" or "humorous," and if I'm trying to track RSVPs for a head count, really a waste of time.

There were a couple that made me chuckle, but the rest were very tacky and some even rude.

I think some of them might be fake, including the REALLY long one, and the Nic Cage one.

The bells one would do really well in my family. The "Child* meal option" one would probably be funny to them as well (some of my partner's family would be irritated, though).

Agree- I think a lot of them were fake and were just computer mock ups. My family would be irritated by the child's meal one too, its their favorite food at weddings.

  • The tree one is something a girl on the reddit weddingplanning sub made. I remember that post!

I legitimately LOLed at "No children will be eaten." A few were cute, and I love the bells one. I really wanted to do a Mad Lib-style, fill in the blank RSVP (my mom still puts Mad Libs in our Christmas stockings every year. Yes we still get Christmas stockings and yes she still insists that they're from Santa), but couldn't swing it with my printing company and didn't want the stress of DIY for that particular thing.

I'm sure the really terrible ones are fakes. ETA - the one mentioning gifts is actually listed under "parody" on Happy Place.
