Re: Since you asked...

  • Nope I got called a hypocrit and a cackling hen and a broad some got worse
  • Oh and a bitch
  • Dear EA,

It's so adorable when my 4 year old and I look alike. I want that adorable for my wedding. Please bestow your authority on this.

Yes, my kid and I are wearing matching t-shirts today. Granted, I paired mine with jeans and boots, she's rocking a purple tutu, orange leggings and Minnie Mouse slippers. Hey, dressing the "same" got her to put clothes on this morning.
  • I did! Thank you so much for asking.  I thought i replied, but I am terribly sick and have no idea what I have done in the past day. I looked at some of them, they looked really nice.  I, originally saw the faux magnolia on save on crafts and it looks really tacky in real life : (  The other magnolia garlands or even a non magnolia green garland is really lush and beautiful. It is on the expensive side.  I am wondering if I can get away with 10 feet when my trellis is 6 feet wide and I want to swag it.  Even then, it would be $137 for just the greenery. And if it rains, i will have an alternate location that doesn't have a trellis, so i don't know if it is worth the risk of the expense.  I than you so much for your insight @AprilH81.  I know it's just flowers, but because of the symbolism, and wanting to keep a memorial of my grandmother light, it is really important to me.  It means a lot to me, that you took the time out of your day to help me. Thank you.

I'm a little bummed because near the end, I asked her for proof of what she believes to be good etiquette, and then I went to get coffee, and then the thread was gone, so I don't know if she replied.

Granted, I'm sure her reply would have been some rambling, grammatically incorrect heap that contributed nothing to the conversation and was full of excuses and personal insults.
You didn't miss anything. I really wanted to read this "proof" as well.

I got nothing done this morning reading those trainwrecks.

They deleted just as I was heading to the last page.

It really is a shame that common sense isn't so common anymore.
You really didn't miss much other than the repeated grammar fails, her not understanding common sense, and just being annoying. And I agree, common sense isn't so common.
Not surprised it was more of the same, but I would have at least liked to have seen the last few posts.  I NEED CLOSURE :)
ITB: I agree! Sorry you missed it, but there's always going to be another that comes along. :)

  • Yes @Emmy1493 - there will always be more crazy on TK.

  • Damn I did actual work all morning and missed all of this bowing and scraping.

  • I am the Etiquette Authority.

I feel so much better now that we've answered that burning question.

Ask me anything.  I am here to boss you.

    /sarcasm

You may be the Etiquette Authority, but don't forget that I'm Queen of The Knot!

Puppy gifs are my preferred form of tribute. I grant favors in the form of cookies and assorted baked goods.

Yes, oh Wise and Magnificent One, I could never forget this.  ;)

  • I thought I gave a pretty satisfactory explanation of 'proof' as in demonstration through examples, as you would prove any argument in writing, but logic does not seem to prevail for some people.

I was also kinda late to the party so no response that I noticed. Sometimes it just falls on deaf ears *sigh*.
  • @MrsMack Absolutely!

Instead of the Knot, or TK, it needs to know stand for Tay-Krazy. TK would still be relevant even then. :)

The 2 derailed threads are still there. The only one that got deleted is the one they started asking who the etiquette authority is.

  • May I come to you for any questions my friends have about their wedding? Sometimes they ask me stuff and I will just post on here about questions and concerns they have.

Lol, it's a level of crazy on the crazy meter brought to you by our fellow Knotties. It is basically referring to Taylor Swift, and her level of craziness, I believe. (Fellow ladies feel free to add in where I am missing. )There was a board about it, but I can seem to find it or I would add the link.

I am sad that I missed drama and a bannanation. Did anyone get called a cuntwaffle?!
I don't believe that phrase was used, but she did say we're all ignorant high school assholes who have no friends and she felt sorry for the guys that were going to be marrying us.  She also used the term "broads" which I have rarely heard anyone outside of the movies use.

With the amount of drinking these trolls make us want to do, I think we need a train wreck thread drinking game.

    1 drink every time:
    KnotPorscha is called
op launches a personal attack (2 drinks if used while calling others bullies)
the formatting of the response makes it hard to read
You want to go all grammar nazi on this person
    "It's MY day" is said

    2 drinks:
Cunt or any other equally offensive word is used as a personal attack
    Pregnant bridesmaid is an issue
Post makes so little sense you actually have no idea what op is trying to say

    Finish your drink if:
Knotporscha actually takes down the thread in a day or less
Op apologizes to anyone for personal attacks (Without sarcasm)

Would anyone like to add any rules?
