  Hahahha this made me smile.  Fi is also way more into the wedding festivities than I am.

  It's hilarious because he's pretty introverted (he's an engineer with a touch of Aspergers), so I never expected he would want a giant to-do. Oh, but he does. In a bad way. When I say he cried when I said I didn't want a wedding, it was serious ugly-crying. And he hasn't planned a darn thing, even though there were specific things he really SHOULD be dealing with (umm... groomsmen attire - it's on him, I don't care what anyone is wearing but me), but he keeps suggesting things "we should consider having" at the wedding. And they're all expensive. And, honestly, a little more bridezilla-ish than I would have expected!
