  • I don't get how my friend quit her job and collects unemployment. You quit. When you quit working, don't you also quit getting a paycheck? And, not for nothing, but they were going to fire her because she sucked at her job. How dies one get paid for sucking and quitting? Oh and as for the gay republican thing, it's a shame that so many Republican candidates and politicians have made that a part of their platform. I don't agree with most Republican's stance on gay marriage, but not every Republican thinks that way. On the flip side, there are some democrats who do. There are sucky people in every political party.

<div>I can see that.  Sadly though, I know people who pick their affiliation based on one thing (abortion, gay marriage, etc) and don't even bother to educate themselves on other issues.  So I think that's really what I don't get more.  But I do see what you're saying, for sure.  </div><div>

<div>The pastor at the church I went to growing up once gave a sermon about how we tell kids "sex is dirty. Save it for someone you love." I don't remember details, but as a high schooler, I thought it was pretty cool that he was addressing sex at all, especially that contradiction.</div>

I do not get this ever.  Cmon' does your car not have an ashtray?  Do you think I want your butt back in my window?  They start forest fires too.  Okay, sorry, that one is close to home, back down off my soapbox.   (I might have gotten a butt one time back in the window that burned my favorite fleece jacket.)  Long story, fun day.
  • I actually base my political affiliation on how much I dislike the other party's beliefs. Whichever one that I dislike less usually wins for me. But that's usually because I have stronger feelings towards issues that I disagree with than issues I am either indifferent or agree with.

We started getting Sonic commercials 5-6 months before they actually built one.  Maybe it's a sign!
