Is a Honeymoon a bad Idea?

  • The above post means only that I am tired, and my thumbs are clumsy.
I was thinking about tartar sauce and french fries. Yum.

I'm Canadian and also find the OPs post to be very offensive. What the heck??

@CamiSelene and @LDay2014 I'm from ON and now live in AB- I've never noticed anyone in AB (and one in BC) to be any more "tacky" regarding weddings than anything I've been to in ON. In both regions, I've been to/heard of very well hosted weddings and those with some etiquette faux-pas.

As per tipping, I thought 15% was pretty standard in Canada for good service- if service was less than ideal, I do not automatically tip that 15%. In many places in Europe, gratuity is factored into the price of the meal already, so tips are generally not left- maybe a coin to let them know you were very pleased.
I'm in Ontario...about 2 hrs north of Toronto
  • Hey guys,

Wow. Look at you all. So many wonderful comments! Let me back it up here.

First of all I apologize if I had offended any American or non-American posters here. I must admit that did seem like a generalization with the comments. So my apologies there. (See look! A Canadian sterotype! Funny? No? Ok, moving on. )

I have never been to a wedding, never hosted or whatever to a wedding. This is a completely new thing for me. So, when I see all these posts are about American this or Southern Belle that-I just needed a actual perspective from some Canadian posters.

The topic name was so people could click on it-yeah cheap I know but look at all these posts I got!

Um, I guess it's a bad idea? I feel like anything I say or do now here will get me attacked so I just will end it here and grab some popcorn from that first replier. Oh, and leave for another few weeks so this can build up because I kinda have a life.

Anyone else? Any more flames? Trolls? Scorned ex-wives? Not health insured people down south who like guns-oh wait my bad that was out of line too. Being funny these days is hard!

    Love you all <3

    You are a peach.

I, too, find it best when I've never attempted a major task to ignore all opinions from those experienced with that task and hurl odd insults.
