Venue for 50 people

Hello all...

I am looking for a venue that accepts a minimum of 50 people where I can have a DJ and dancing, which basically eliminates a restaurant. We would like to have a quick ceremony and a party afterward. Nothing fancy; just fun with delicious food. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated! Preferably somewhere within a half hour of Troy.

Looks like The Community House in Birmingham goes as low as 10.

Little further away, the Longacre House in Farmington... they have a really good deal for 50 person Friday or Sunday weddings.

Thank you sooooo much for the help! I will check out these places. Visited Rochester Community House yesterday and it could definitely work. Didn't think of the Community House in Birmingham.

We are having our reception at It's a Matter of Taste in Commerce on Union Lake. A little further away than the other suggestions but you can't beat the view.

There are banquet facilities above the restaurant with a dance floor. We are having a larger wedding and using the entire upstairs but the minimum is only 30 people. Rooms can be made smaller.
