  I think @goldenpenguin's point is that you're basically asking us if you should talk to your significant other about how you're feeling. Which, I mean, the answer is, "Yes, you should communicate with your significant other." Communication isn't something that you only do at certain points in a relationship.

  Here's the deal. WE don't know your significant other. YOU know him. 

  
  

  If you don't know where he stands, to the point where it's stressful to you, that's not something that WE can fix for you. It means that you need to COMMUNICATE your feelings & desires to the person with whom those decisions are made with. If you don't feel comfortable with what he's telling you, and don't feel comfortable asking important questions about the status of your relationship, there are bigger issues here.

  A lot of folks find religion after divorce or her divorced because their religious views don't line up. So that I think makes sense. Although OP never mentioned divorce so I didn't want to go there in case of tragedy.

  I guess, to tell you the truth, I've never had much of a desire to grow facial hair. I think I've managed to play quarterback just fine without a mustache. - Peyton
