As an update on what happened, I went along and had an okay time. MOH was only passive aggressive a handful of times, but I was able to ignore it well enough. As fate would have it, about 3 of the rides were experiencing technical difficulty that day, including one of the favorites of the group. Not sure if I should call it karma or not, but it amused me none-the-less. One thing I noticed was that no one besides me offered to pay for any of the bride's stuff. I offered for a few things, but stopped offering because I did not want to pay for everything myself. I felt so awkward when we took some of those gimmicky dress up pictures and not a person offered to chip in. I was already "done" at that point, but it still made me feel bad. $50 for 2 pictures? Gross.
  • These people suck. That is all.

The MOH sucks. Maybe the other left-out BM may have been passive-aggressively reacting to the MOH planning things and presenting invoices.

    I can see that.
The whole matchy-shirts thing was hashed out on the trip as well, and the MOH only "forgot" us but figured we "wouldn't want one anyway", so we will have our matching shirts too.
  • This MOH is the worst. And you know what else? The bride is also The-Worst-By-Association. If I knew that my friend was behaving the way this MOH is behaving, she would cease to be my friend. Nice people don't hang out with jerks (at least not voluntarily).

I'm glad my MOH is my sister--we have zero trouble telling each other to come correct if one of us is being a douchenozzle.
