@phira You posted a quote from the TOS and paged KP so that people would get warned/banned and/or the thread would be closed. There was absolutely no reason for any of that other than people were disagreeing with you and HGF whom you were defending. What did you think would happen?
I mean ... do I really need to actually explain the difference between ad rem and ad hominem? There's a difference between, "I disagree with you," and, "You are a horrible person." It's one thing to say, "Hey, I disagree with what you said. I think you're wrong." It's another to call someone names like we're in elementary school.
Besides, I fail to see how posting TOS as a reminder and paging a mod would be a problem if, as you're insisting, no one was violating TOS. So ignore it. I'm not exactly cackling behind my keyboard saying, "OH GOODIE I HOPE I GET PEOPLE BANNED today is the best day."
I'm jealous of all ya'll who can wear those giant shoes. I'm 5'9" (ish? maybe 5'10" if I stand up straight?) so I would be a BEAST in those things. Thankfully FI is 6'4" so I can still wear 4" heels for the wedding without looking weird (at least to me), but that's as far as I'll push it.
Rock it, girls! I'm 5'11" and still love me a good heel.
Tall girls should not be allowed to be even taller via heels!
Sorry, not sorry, you damn lucky tall ppl!
Then short girls should not be allowed to date tall people. :-p I mean, I swiped my tall drink o' water up already, but still. I've known some girls who dated guys over a foot taller than them, while I was dating guys BARELY taller than me who also happened to be intimidated by me being taller. Those were some sad shoe days, friends.
I agree. Who wants to stare at a guy's navel all night while having sex?! :-P

I always do kinda wonder how that works when I see a super tall guy with his super short girlfriend.
Works totally fine! (says the girl more than a foot shorter than her FI)

Prime example...
Yeah that just looks awkward.

Am I the only one who cant believe there are people who are still upset that Linger and Stage got banned? It was a year ago.
I must be naive but I had no idea there was such underground animosity between regs.
I think we should all take some of the advice we give to the newbies. Slowly back away from the internet, because this thread has been talking in cirlces for 9+ pages.
Me neither! It's frankly surreal. I cannot tear my eyes away from this thread.
Me three! I have always really liked pretty much all the regs here and this makes me feel like middle school all over again. I am going to start crying and turn into the rainbow cake girl.
(SITB)
Okay I am glad I am not alone. Its surprising that regs/ posters get annoy or mad with a certain poster and dont say anything. Then let it bottle up for months. We are so candid about everything else, why not this?
Wow. I honestly haven't seen this much stupidassity since seventh grade. (Jeannie Palumbo stole Becky Nelson's notebook and wrote I Hate Lori Ullman whore whore whore on it. Serious drama indeed. Principals were involved. Parents were called. Sides were taken.)
Except that a year later, all three had matured enough to move on to more important things.
Good God, ladies. It's an internet chat board. Grow the fuck up.
@beethery I knew we were kindred spirits. I was one too. I kinda sucked at it though. But I know there's at least a couple others, which is why I lol whenever the subject of "ew strippers are gross" comes up.
I just have to say that I watched pole dancing videos on YouTube once- don't ask me how I got on that rabbit trail- and they were amazing. Not only did those women look super graceful, they were doing some really impressive acrobatics and it just looked like fucking fun.
ETA- I'm still not thrilled about "dollar tricks" though.
I am good at the dancing part! I miss that a lot. Spinning poles are a shitton of fun. I am terrible at the sales part though. Shy and socially awkward does not a hustler make. It didn't help that I was in a state that is notoriously bad money for all but the very best hustlers, and actually prefers the pot-smoking-girl-next-door-look. lol.
We have a portable stripper pole. If we had the space, I'd have a regular one installed. It's supposed to be all sexy and what not...but I mostly just spin around on it like I'm 7. Of course there are sexy times with it too.

I honestly can't underrstand how people can have so much hostility towards someone they don't know in real life. This is just a message board people. Lol. Anyway it has kept me entertained and now I'm thinking about switching my next ballet class to a pole dancing one just to try it out... Thanks ladies!
Getting kind of back to the OP after messaging FI about all the stripper shoes and what not FI wants me to sign up for a pole dancing class! However, he refuses to ever allow us to install a pole in the house since "your giraffe legs will probably break a window or you'll kick the cat".

DH's cousin teaches pole dancing and even goes to competitions. She got 3rd at a recent one. I'm so tempted to go to one of her classes, but then I feel weird because it's his cousin.
Aw do it! I bet you will have a blast.
Navel staring? How do straight people have sex? No wait, don't tell me, never mind I don't need to know. I always just figure the short girl gets to be on top if the guy is super tall.
ETA: Aw fuck, wrong quote thread. This was in response to @PrettyGirlLost comment about shorties and tallies having the sex. It's less funny now.
On the topic of AEs. Why cant the reg or reg-from years ago, just post under their normal name? If you want to call someone out of disagree with them, grow some balls and do it. But its seems childish to hide behide the veil of an AE.

Yeah that would make sense, and I'm sure there are a ton of other positions I intentionally left out of my comment in an attempt to make a joke ;-)
"Love is the one thing we're capable of perceiving that transcends time and space."
History doesn't dissipate because people weren't around when the events occurred. My beef about the removal of past regs is with KGs mostly.
However, events from the past (including actions regarding reg. removal), other threads, on board/off board happenings and current posts with specific people are what shape my opinion of them. Their actions and attitudes are what are divisive. It's not bottled up. My opinion will come out when I disagree or agree....just like any other time.

Well... her face would still only be at navel-level if she were on top. Unless she was a spinner, which is just how I imagine all super short/super tall couples handle that.

The answer to this would have been "um, yes?" so I'm glad you took the initiative and spelled it out for those with a mediocre vocabulary such as myself.

I figured as much. I always tease my straight friends with "how the hell do straight people have sex?" thing, whenever they say something.

Yeah. I think it's naive at best to think that just because some people aren't around anymore, or that an event happened in the past, that no one can ever still think about it, have feelings about it, etc. It can be surprising for people who weren't around at the time, but just because there isn't like ... a TK History Textbook doesn't mean that we can't talk about or have opinions about something that happened not-currently.

Hahaha. That isn't always a valid assumption!
With that said, I think Fi is the perfect height for me (about 6 inches taller) and everything works just like I think it should. Hayden looks like a 75% scale drawing next to her H!
"I'm not a rude bitch. I'm ten rude bitches in a large coat."
@cupcait927@kgold80 Can we stop beating around the bush here? Who are you both implying is an AE / unknown username?
Well, yourself for starters. And @misscleo which, unless it is a WILD coincidence, is someone who either is a reg or used to be a reg and still lurks, even if they asked for their account to be deleted/was banned. I cannot remember the thread (anyone want to dig it up for me?) but there was a recent reference to miss cleo, the television psychic, and I find it incredibly coincidental that all of a sudden we have a new poster with that name who knows backstory that newer posters don't. I could be mistaken, and if I am, I apologize. I just think there's a better way to voice your opinion. Maggie and Muppet have done it and aren't acting like children.
Damn box. Sorry to burst your bubble. I am not who you think I am. I am a little pissed though that I have been talked about and not realized it. Not and AE but an AW.
Holy shit, ladies. I went to class this morning, got home and logged onto TK, and walked into the middle school girls' locker room.
Were there strippers in there too? Or lesbians wondering how straight people have sex?
Hell, I was homeschooled. I was wondering how straight people had sex when I was in middle school.
I liked to pretend to be a stripper in our locker room. And by that I mean I would spin around one of the pillars by the showers in just my bra and skirt until I finally slipped one day and they made a rule against it.
I miss my pole dance classes. A good friend and former manager got me into it. The studio we went to had to close down so she gave me lessons out of her apartment until she moved to Vegas. I had planned on using my tax return for a home pole but I then lost my job and needed the money. Hopefully by next tax return I can get it.
