Show me your shoes! These are pretty plain but they're my current faves du jour, because they're my wedding shoes. Squee! 4" heels and comfy as a cloud because I bought a size too big and put 2 kinds of squishies in them.

I do sound like a cowboy that's marching into a showdown when I walk around in them though. The metal bits are kinda jangly.

I'm currently barefoot, but I love shoes! I'm pretty practical about them, though. I typically wear either my Nine West work shoes or Chucks. However, if I could have swung it in my budget, these were my dream wedding shoes:

I am not buying anything for our wedding yet because I'm still in the idea gathering stage. (long engagement, probably paying for everything ourselves so that we do not have to worry about crazy input from parents about things)

I'm currently in sock feet because I just came from spin class and I'm EXHAUSTED and needed to wiggle my toes.

Just bought these beauties when J. Crew had sale-on-sale over Memorial Day Weekend:

And I have no idea about my wedding shoes yet. Not sure whether to go for comfort, since hardly anybody will see them, or use it an excuse to buy some kind of ridiculously expensive luxury shoe I'd never buy otherwise.

I'm currently shoeless. my favorite way to be in the summer but I just took of my gym shoes. They are super flashy and kind of young but I love them for lifting. Very sturdy.

I have not even thought about my wedding shoes yet! I want heels for height. I wear them all the time so I would feel strange dressed up in flats but I don't want sore feet after hours on the concrete. What a conundrum!

I love the yellow with that dress! I bought these in tan and they are surprisingly SUPER comfortable. I would live in these shoes if I could.

Aerosoles are seriously amazing, and they've gotten so much cuter than when my grandma wore them. I had these in brown croc and wore them walking ALL over Brazil. The wedges were perfect for rough cobblestones and my feet never hurt a bit. They need replacing now, so I think I'll get the blue...will need them in Spain, duh!

If you keep your options open to include colored shoes, you'll have a LOT cuter/comfier options than if you stick with white/ivory!

My wedding shoes are pretty boring- cowboy boots. I didn't want to tower over FI, and I always wanted to (yes, pre-pinterest) since I ride. There were some that would've been way cooler, but cowboy boots can be ridiculously expensive, so I just picked some that were on sale and sort of had toppers in my color. They will be my everyday barn boots after the wedding.

I LOVE the glitzy platforms! That is what I would do if I weren't so set on the boots. And if FI was taller. ha.

The only type of shoe that is really missing from my closet is some booties. As impractical as they would be, I would like these, please:

I love either with the dress, but I'm leaning towards the nude for a christening.

I ended up in my old purple converse for the wedding. My dress had lace all around the hem and barely was long enough flat-footed. I'm pretty much the same height as H and I only wear heels when forced to it. I have worn converse tennis shoes under all my formal dresses since I've known my husband, so it seemed right.
