  I've never heard of frosting on banana bread. I have heard of chocolate chips in it. I've been wanting to make banana bread for awhile but don't ever seem to catch the banana between ripe and way too ripe. Anyone have a good recipe?

  Way too ripe is where you want them. They should be almost totally brown.

  My coworker made banana bread for the department, and it had some kind of frosting on it. Maybe cream cheese or something? anyways, it was the first time I ever had banana bread with frosting and it was amazeballs.
