    If FI is in a WP and I'm not, my first thought is "Sweet! I get to wear whatever I want, relax before the ceremony, and not miss out on cocktail hour! Have fun, FI!" ( most folks do pics after ceremony here). I'd only be peeved if we were sitting apart for the reception. I'd assume FI's brothers' wives and GFs, who will be traveling OOT and have only met me a handful of times, would feel the same way. As would most other sane people on the planet. You are in the clear.
