Re: wedding gown woes *vent* - help- UPDATE

  • @Dignity100‌ i emailed pronovias to ask about the alterations and with regards to the dress itself, see if I have any other options.

  • Looking forward to hearing a happy ending! I was wondering earlier if there'd been any updates.
  • I would tell them at the shop (or write the owner) that you found the dress online and will not be giving your business to them because of the way they treat their customers.

So happy you now know what it is!  @inkdancer and @orcaspinner, how did you do that?

The Google-fu is strong in these ones.

  • I'm so glad that you found the style and name of your dress so you can continue your search. I agree with some of the PPs that you should really avoid giving the shop your business after the way they treated you. I'd also write them a nasty review on google, yelp and anywhere else that you can. It can be understanding that they don't want to give out dress info to get your business but that dress was not your size. Plus if the designer tag isn't still in it, how do you even know that's what it really is? Anyway, the dress is beautiful and I really hope you can find one to wear on your wedding day.
